Ooh I like it Conina! I'm approaching the point where I don't care whose sperm it is Totally kidding, but it still seems like a fun idea to run super secret tests and find out which sperm and eggs would play nice and make a baby. I feel like I'm turning into a mad scientist! We could make some funny profiles for our sperm and eggs:

Jaimie's DH's sperm: I'm pretty lazy and don't want to make a baby because I want to be babied

Jaimie's Eggs: The clock is ticking!!! You'd better freakin' hurry up and fertilize me! Ugh - men - they can't find anything on their own!

Floofy's eggs: Aaarrgghhh! What is wrong with us? Why is it taking so long? We're running out of time!!

FLoofy's DH's spermies: Man it's hot in these skin tight boxers. This maca is giving us more energy, but the alcohol is fuzzing my brain and I can't be bothered to get off my barker lounger and make it up there!

Hi girls, mind if I join you?? I've just turned 33 a couple of weeks ago and my husband and I have been trying for 2 years and 9 months. 6 mc's and 5 of those with my dh. Been to see the specialist a year and a half ago and after a few measley tests she said I will carry to term one day and sent me back to my GP. Now I've been referred to a different one and my appt is on Oct 26th My latest mc was Aug just gone however I have just come off the first af since then and am CD7...cant wait till ov next week.

And can I just say I love how you word things Jaimie2Eyes....made me chuckle!!!!

Thanks CJSG! I'm awfully sorry for all your losses. That seems unbelievably hard to me, and unfair. Have you looked into clinics that specialize in recurrent MC?

Floofy - don't worry about sounding mean - this is where we can safely vent our frustrations. I called my DH a baby Although with funny personal profiles like these, we aren't going to successfully match many spermies or eggs

Thanks Jaimie, we dont get clinics that specialise in recurrent mc here, at least not what I've been told. I am in to see a gynaecologist next month who will run tests I guess to see why I keep miscarrying. But the Early Pregnancy Unit told me that unfortunately the only tests which can determine a cause have to be done while pregnant to check hormone levels etc, but by the time my doc has messed around and waiting on the hospital I have already miscarried. They havent been the best for to be honest. The midwife I was meant to have for the pg I just lost has told me to ring her the day I get my bfp so she can get me into the hospital straight away for bloods etc.

I can't post a witty one-liner since we've not trying anymore! But since they will be hand picking the egg and sperm I guess it's like an arranged marriage (which better work for all the money it costs!)

Floofy - my husband had one of those lounge chairs before we got married. I made him get rid of. I said that it was big, clumsy, ugly and totally lazy looking. We bought this other sleek, modern looking chair that he promptly settled into and quickly made look like an expensive lazy chair. So much for that.

Jamie - I'm glad to see you're still around. I finished all those awful fertility tests and am getting prepped for ivf in November.

Waitng's eggs: Im here, Im here, Im here. Oh surprised you with an extra long cycle, ha ha thought you were getting a BFP, that'll be all the hours you work and dont look after yourself.

Waitng's DH's sperm: Im overweight but cheerful, perfectly formed.... just not very energetic. Ive cut out the alcohol and being force fed vitamins, but nearly 60% of me dont move

Hi girls

Boy what a day - i did 2 opks 1 neg 1 poss and my persona stopped working so i'm now in limbo of what is going on whether i'm oving today or not - i'm destined not know this month.

To add to that for women in there 30s its meant to be when we are at our peak sexually and for men its when it declines and boy do i know that with my oh who is nearly 39 - He is very much a once a week man and its a nightmare to get him to do more thats why my opks are so important - sigh

So the only spermys that will be waiting for eggy this cycle are from yesterday so i'm doubtful this month. Especially as i'm sure my oh's sperms float about on lilo's chilling out

Hi Ladies,

I haven't been posting as much. I have to change that.

Has anyone been following Giuliana and Bill Rancic's story? I feel like I am struggling along with them as we have begun trying after surgery. I hope they conceive soon. I am glad they are going public with their story to put a national emphasis on TTC , LTTC and the issues associated with infertility and ttc over 30 etc etc.

Yeah no holidays or swimming backwards for the spermys this month please
I keep thinking they may last a few days - there are so many different websites saying different times on how long they last - i think 2 days for me mainly because of his age, smoking, drinking etc
