I'm desperate. Does ANYONE have worse morning sickness in third tri than they did in first?

I am weak and hungry but can't eat anything much at all, and I'm sick of being sick. I have talked to my midwife and she said morning sickness can return, but I just don't know anyone who has had it back. I'm seeing my GP today because my midwife is away for the day training and I need reassurance.

I throw up at least once a day and feel sick on and off ALL day and ALL night. I've been eating dry crackers during the night when I wake up to prevent being sick, but after this morning's huge vomit, I can't look at crackers ever again.

I'm miserable. This was meant to be a happy, glowing (yeah, right) time and all I can do is lie around feeling sorry for myself. My in-laws are here on holiday from England and I have barely been able to do anything with them.

I'm sad :(

O hun i feel for you completely! I had hyperemeses with my first and this one! I found out that it can re appear when you get close to giving birth and thats what happened to me! So i am sure that with morning sickness it can re appear as other hormones are coming into play to gear your body up for labour! I think you are like me unlucky when it comes to sickness, defo go to doctor and see if he can help you as you dont want to feel like this if you dont have to hun! Keep an eye on your fluids really important, I hope you feel better hun :hugs:

I didnt get first tri MS but i did get some sickness and nausea about 32 weeksish. It was horrid but lasted less than a week :hugs:

I didn't have any sickness throughout but I am nauseous all the time now and it's getting me down. I'm not being sick but I just feel crappy all day. Hope you feel better hun x

I've just been diagnosed with hyperemisis at 29+5. It sucks but I got some anti sickness and apart from feeling sick all day I haven't been sick! Touch wood. Definatly ask your doctor about this! :flower: xx

Thanks for the replies! My dr ordered some blood tests just to check my kidneys and liver and I've had to do a urine test to make sure toxaemia isn't developing. He said he's sure everything is fine, but he just wants to make sure.

He gave me some anti-nausea tablets too. I'm a bit scared about taking medication when pregnant, but he said they will be fine.

Most importantly, he said the baby is growing as it should, so that's a relief.

It's just so hard though because I have 3 children to look after and I'm still working a couple of days a week.

I'm relieved to hear that it's not totally unheard of to get sick now tho! xxxx
