30 weeks pregnant with backpain and bad period pains

Hi all, 30 weeks pregnant with baby number 1. I've been having bad period pains and back ache since last night, can't take any more paracetamol as taken the most I can today. Should I be concerned? I do have group b strep apparently. Baby is still moving a good amount but obviously getting concerned now. Any advice/same experience would be great. Thanks!!

No experience of pains that early hunni. But if it carries in much long I think u should see someone cx

I had this same feeling around 29wks,
i was really worried too,
I called L&D a couple of times,
but the pains stopped within the week.

i was thinking maybe he was having a growth spurt?


just keep an eye on his movements,
or if your cramping is 5-6 mins apart,
then go on in and get monitored.

I would go to labor and delivery. You don't want early contractions with cervical changes. I had to be put on a medication for preterm labor. If there is nothing wrong they will tell you, better to be safe than sorry.

I'm 30 weeks too and have been having the worst back pains for the last couple of days, I just want to be comfortable !

You should definitely get it checked out just to be on the safe side! I was in the hospital at 30w 1d for contractions with period pains, and am now on bed rest so that I don't go into labour too early, so it's been just over a week of these pains.

I'm not trying to scare you or anything, but it is always better to go and be told that everything is okay than have something wrong and not know.

Turns out i had an infection too!
Got antibiotics, feeling much better now!
