Hubby and I have been TTC for more than three years. I am starting a new cycle tomorrow (8/30/13) and have a 27-day cycle. Looking for some buddies!!!

We are reaching the fertility specialist stage but our insurance doesn't cover it - at all. So, we are trying everything else! Right now I'm taking a "fertility tonic" from our chiro/nutritionist and taking chaste tree to support my progesterone.

I'm going to again start charting my temps (my sleep cycle is strange, so I need to try to be better about times for that!) and may pick up an ovulation kit again. And, I'm thinking of trying PreSeed.

Ummm, yeah, I'm pretty much going to try EVERY SINGLE THING I can think of this month.... any other suggestions!!??? I really want a :baby:!!!

Thanks for looking!

Hi,

I'll be your buddy :flower:

I'm 33 and also ttc#1. We started last year around this time and after no success we went to a fertility specialist and found out I had a large fibroid in my uterus. I had it removed in June and now we are bact at it :happydance: The Dr has me on Metformin for possible pcos, and Bromocriptin for high prolactin levels. I take prenatals and folic acid daily. I use the clear blue easy ovulation predictor to know when to bd. Today I am 9dpo and af is due on the 9th, so I'm waiting to test.

Hi Kitty!

I can totally relate to your emotional rollercoaster, that was me last yera! I had always been concerned with my age, but after seeing the fertility specialist I feel more comfident that it will happen, if not right away, soon. I would suggest seeing one, they can give you reaasurrance and see if there is something that is an easy fix affecting you getting pregnant.

For example, for me, the first time I went to the specialist he asked me questions about my cycle, then he said " I bet you are lactating" I was like WHAT! How can I lactate, I've never been pregnant and am not currently! Butsure enough I was, and this was causing me to have irregular periods, so he perscribed me medication and now I am regular. If I wouldn't have seen a specialist I would have not known about the lactation problem or the fibroid. My insurance treats the fertility appointments just like any other obgyn appointment.

Anyways, I was feeling pretty good about this cycle until today, we had a bd session this morning, then afterward I had spotting when I wiped. Its gone now, but now I am having af cramps, so I feel she is on her way  if no af by this weekend then I will test.

I use conceive plus also, hopefully it works for us !

HI friends!! :hugs:

So excited to hear from you! :happydance:

I am on CD4 (usually 27 days, sometimes 28).

It's been quite a trying experience, and while I very much wish we could go to a fertility specialist, our insurance doesn't cover it. So, we are hoping to hold out for a few more months (and maybe get pregnant naturally) but we will likely make an appt. sometime early 2014 to see what they can do to help.

I have already had a diagnostic lap and dye. It was scary... I cried right before the operation, but my ObGyn is wonderful and has been taking good care of me (and doing everything within his specialty to help us).

So, results from testing are that nothing is wrong. And, I totally wish there was so that they could fix me!!!!

I have been to a nutritionist/wellness/chiro friend, and DH and I are both taking a fertility tonic. I am planning to buy some PreSeed for the first time this month too. FXd!

And, I am starting to temp again.

All I keep thinking about is how this isn't supposed to be this hard! I am healthy and active, and DH and I desperately want a family.

Hopefully we will all be on our way to :bfp: soon!

:dust:

I was just thinking today that there were so many women on this website and we all want the same thing, and why is that one thing so hard? If you're like me you think you did everything correct, got married, settled down, made a home, and the only puzzle piece left is a baby, but its like the puzzle piece is hidden somewhere and we have to try and find it while others already had the piece inthe box!

But ladies I know that our time will come :flower:

KittyKan... I'm not exactly sure what all is in my tonic. My friend is a chiropractor and an endocrine wellness specialist, so I know that one of the ingredients is targeting my progesterone levels. I am not a healthy eater... so some of the ingredients are to help with that too, I think!

I have tried acupuncture, but only once. It feels funny! I'd be open to trying it again - it's hard to fit into my schedule.

I'm glad to have some new friends here! I enjoy the site very much, but I definitely need to stay away from the 2WW area too! I am terrible at creating false symptoms! However, the downside of ignoring any symptoms is that when they are actually "real" someday, I am afraid I will have missed out on some part of my pregnancy! Silly, I know! But, I am actually really looking forward to being pregnant and feeling all that goes with it.

And, the smilies come from the "Go Advanced" area... you should be able to see them then!!

KittyKan, I'm not sure if the lactating was due to the fibroid, from what the FS said, I don't think it was, just something that a lot of women experience. I never noticed, you have to squeeze the nipple in order for the milk to come out. Once he showed me, I went home and tried for my self, lol, and sure enough there it was! I haven't tried to produce milk since I have been taking the medicine he prescribed for it, I'm too scared to see milk again.

I am a 2ww stalker! I know I should stay away, but I'm just too curious. But this cycle it really isn't affecting me that I don't have all of the symptoms that ladies who got their bfp had. My af is due next Monday. I ordered some pregnancy tests online, and hopefully they will be here for me to test on Sunday if af has not arrived. That will be 15dpo (I'm currently 10dpo). I'm hoping for my bfp, but not too worried if this is not my month as it is the first time we are trying after my surgery.

For me, conceive plus is a nice lubricant, but for some reason it irritates my skin, only when I first put it on then it goes away, but enough for me to wonder what is going on down there.

I have not tried acupuncture yet, I kind of feel like I need it today! I woke up with a very stiff back and neck, it hurt to turn my head in either direction :-( nit sure if this is a pregnancy symptom, but it definitely doesn't happen during my usual pms.

Hi ladies,

How are we all doing? I'm 12dpo, waiting for my tests to arrive in the mail tomorrow, going to*try to hold out until Sunday (16dpo) before I test if still no af.

Hope you guys are doing well :flower:

For this cycle we bd every other day after af ended, then once I had a positive opk we bd 2 days in a row. I don't think we bd on O day, but I heard that trying to time bd on O day is not good because you may miss the eggy. So by bd before O you have a better chance because the spermies are already there waiting.

I'm in the US, in sunny Florida :flower:

Hi girls! Sorry I've been crazy busy the last couple days. I'm on CD 7 right now so I'm just now gearing up for the BD marathon. We are going to stick with every other day and hope for the best.

I've decided to try to relax a little bit about all the TTC stuff. I am going to work on getting back in shape (ankle injury and then the laparoscopy really threw me off my normal routine).

But relaxing doesn't mean I'm going to quit trying!!!

I'm really ready for my turn. For OUR turns!! Right ladies!?

Yay for OUR turns girls!! I know we are going to get there :)

Totally with you relaxing about it, I feel the same. I keep thinking I am doing what & the best that I can for now and it will happen. I know you're taking it easy libbysue, but I wondered do either of you do any regular exercise - whats your regime, if you dont mind sharing?

I do an excellent zumba twice a week, go for long walks for a few hours during the week with a friend and do work out videos at home on 2-3 other days.

Well, I teach Zumba 2x a week. :happydance:

And I run. I have run two marathons in the last two years, but an injury in April took me out of this race season. (I'm not fast at all! I just enjoy running.)

So, I am JUST starting back up and even two miles is rough now. I'm basically starting over, which is really annoying!

But, since I needed a good distraction, I'm running a 4-person relay for a marathon in October. I can work up to 6 miles over the next several weeks.

Hi girls!!! May I join your buddy list? :)

I am 32 years old and hubby and I have 6 year old twin boys, we are going to start trying this month for #3.:baby:

Where is everybody from on here?
