hello,
Just wondering what to expect at my 34 weeks midwife appointment. I cant remember from first time around :)
Thanks

I've got mine on Wednesday as far as I know it is the same as all the others! I had one at 32 weeks and there was nothing different. I did have to have a swab but that's only because I have been suffering with thrush a lot and she wanted to check that I didnt have any other underlying infection :) x

mine was 'you feeling ok?' - doppler, fundal height, urine and BP checked...that was it! just a standard one i think - i also had a swab like AP but gladly mine came back negative xx (oh and i had to ask for the swab)

I was wondering this too! thanks ladies.

Did they talk birth plans with u at all? x

The same as the others. Urine, BP, baby's heartbeat, home :)

mine didn't even mention it at all,i guess my MW appoint tomorrow will possibly be asked that :flower:

I'm curious about how your midwives go about the birth plan. I asked mine at the 28 week appointment and at Wigan apparently the midwife doesn't go through a birth plan with you. I was told I do it myself as there's a form in the back of my maternity notes, so I've just done that?!??

Yeah I had to ask for the swab too, it came back positive but only thrush nothing any more scary! It's the only reacuring problem I've had this pregnancy really and I'll take that over what some people experience! Xxx

no mine doesnt go through birth plan either just asked if i'd filled it in with my last pregnancy.

I was told id be 'discussing' mine at my 28 week appt but see a diff MW than my usual and she told me its too early..?! they tend to say different things lol.
Im jus curious to no if ill be high risk of having shoulder dystocia (sp?) again and if i can have my water birth and sorta let them no so when i ring they can tell me if its available or not when the times comes. I like to be prepared haha x
