35, first pregnancy and have diabetes type I

Hi everyone, i am 18 weeks now and my HbA1c was 7.5 before i even knew i was pregnant. I feel hungry all the time and i have gained around 7 kg in these few months. I am just very worried about the baby. Anyone with a similar situation or past experience?

Hi,

I don't have diabetes, but have an underactive thyroid (so am put into the endocrone clinic at my local) -- can you speak to the midwife at your practice/hospital and perhaps she can help you?
