35, first try, optimistic

Am I dreaming or could it be happening after our very first month of trying? I have never had cycle-related symptoms and this month, our first month of trying, I've experienced things I've never experienced before. Or it could be that I am so much more in tune with my body this month, watching things closely to learn "how I work", that I might be causing my own symptoms, psychosomatic-style?

Anyway, we BD'ed on the 13th, I O'ed on the 15th, I believe implantation would have started on the 21st (based on my symptoms). I've been nauseous since then, especially in the morning or when I'm inactive, have very little appetite except for protein-rich food (weird for me), and today, light-pink spotting.

Please send me fairy dust for a sticky bean. I'm 35 and so ready for this. But the thought of being successful after only 1 month of trying seems far on the "too good to be true" side. But I remain optimistic. Too soon to try a HPT for Christmas, but might be a nice New Year's surprise instead!

I have just turned 35 in November and trying for our 3 rd child but my af has been so weird so my doctor is sending mer for a hormonal bloods done xx

hi I'm 35 too & hoping for no. 2. I think when we start trying we feel everything going on in our bodies. I'm currently on day 17 of my cycle & experiencing mild period like cramps in the middle of my lower abdomen, just wondering if this is normal? Here's my story: so I'm 4mths off the pill. To date my cycles have varied from, 32 - 28 days. My hubby & I aren't actively ttc but at the same time aren't preventing it. On day 10 I noticed (what I thought was ewcm), so we did the business that night. Then on day 12 I experienced a pinching pain on my left side for a few minutes, for the next few hours after that I had a fluttering sensation in my lower abdomen. Then from day 13-16 I had loads of ewcm. On day 16 I started to develop mild lower abdomen & lower back cramps. Now today on day 17 I've still got a bit of ewcm & mild cramps - feels like period is about to begin. Has anyone else experienced this? Obviously I would love to be pregnant but not holding out much hope due to the ewcm on days 13-17. Last month I had the pinching on my right side on day 15 & just had ewcm on days 13-15.

I had loads of ewcm after ovulation last month period was two weeks late.. Then it came! I thought for sure I was pregnant, had every symptom! Our bodies can be cruel... Good luck fx for you!!

Cruel indeed. I honestly feel like my period is just about to come & im only on day 17. Mild cramps & full feeling low down.

Indeed, our bodies are cruel. I didn't end up pg last month, but was convinced of it. I had spotting a week before my AF was due (on Christmas Eve) and was convinced for sure it was implantation....but that slowly turned into a full on AF. It was disheartening as I hoped a BFP would be a neat Christmas gift for my hubby. I had all the right symptoms of pregnancy, symptoms I'd never had before a period like nausea and extreme fatigue etc. Anyway, so it's take two now. I am convinced I O'ed on the 7th (based on the amount of EWCM and the pinching feeling I got) so we made sure to BD. Because my cycle was short last month, I don't know what to think today. It was short the previous month too. If my cycle is shortened for real, I'm technically 2 days late, but it's possible it's just been the last 2 months that have been silly. So going to test in 3 days and hope for my BFP.

Fingers crossed for you. My cycles are a mess at the mo, I'm off the pill 4 months & they vary between 32-28 days, so I don't know what to expect

I've never been on the pill before. My cycles have been quite regular on their own, just were oddly short 2 months in a row. Maybe this month it's going back to normal. This is also my first experience of actually trying to get pregnant. What a different feeling! I took an HPT this morning because I couldn't wait any longer. I got a BFN but it's very possible I simply tested too soon, or that AF is on her way yet because my cycle is changing back to normal. I'm staying positive and trying my darndest not to obsess. I've not been trying very long and in some ways, conceiving a few months from now isn't the end of the world (more convenient for my work situation), as long as it's not too many months away. If not successful in the next couple months, I might look into trying an OPK so I'm not guessing completely.

How many dpo are you now? Have you tested again? I'm on cd21 now & still have some cramps. I've also been getting some tenderness around my appendix scare tissue (had it out 2yrs ago). I've also still got some cm...I've had it non stop since cd10. Have you experienced this??

girls hope your all well as for me go for my scan on the 9 feb bleeding as still gone waiting on just don't no when its going to come i have worked out 8 feb just a waiting game x x
