I'm 36 (turning 37 this summer) and obese (bmi of 45). I'm working on making healthier food choices and walking more.

This is our first cycle of TTC, as we got married three weeks ago and I went off BC when the last pack ended after the wedding.

Other than losing weight, do you have any suggestions on things we should be doing to improve our chances?

I should also note that I have (had?) HPV, and had cryotherapy done and two biopsies. After almost two years of treatment and then playing the "wait and see" game, I have now had three normal paps.

Congratulations on your recent wedding! Your profile pic is gorgeous :)

I think having the right mindset towards healthy eating and exercise is a good start hun, I lost a bunch of weight doing the same, it takes a while but understanding that is good rather than trying for a quick fix. Rope a supportive friend to do exercise with if you can. Also try the couch to 5k app if you want to start running I found that great. I'm now down to a healthy bmi again and have so much more energy which is great for having a little one around which itself is a great motivator :)
Also BD as much as possible!!

Good luck!

Just popping in to stalk you ;). I really need to get my act together if we're going to TTC #2 any time soon.

Losing weight certainly can't hurt, but fwiw, lots of us fat chicks had no weight related complications at all.
