Well I've been for another growth scan (I was 36 weeks + 5) and baby's measurements were:-

FL: 69.4mm
HC: 332.7mm
AC: 332.8mm
EFW: 3042.0g

I believe he is on the bigger side. What were your measurements?

I've signed my consent for the c section/sterilization but have to wait until next week to receive a confirmed date and time for section. Can't believe he will be here between 2 and 3 weeks - its flown by!

Our little guys are pretty close...

BPD: 9.41 cm = 38 week 3 day
HC: 33.24 cm = 38 week 0 day
AC: 34.24 cm = 38 week 2 day
FL: 7.37 cm = 37 week 4 day

That's at 36+6 days. Yeah, he's big with an approximate weight of 3412 g (7.5 lbs) in the 74%.

By comparison, my daughter was just under 7 lbs at 39 weeks and she went 12 days late for a delivery weight of 7 lbs 13oz.

I just had another growth scan today at 36w4d. The baby weighed 6lbs14oz (which I think converts to 3117g) and they said that was perfect. Now I'm wondering if I should still be worried about her being large, since your baby was slightly smaller at the same gestation and you were worried about them being pretty big... I was recently diagnosed with mild gestational diabetes, so I'm worried about her shooting up suddenly and having to deliver a 13 pound baby. :-/

Does anybody else have their 36-ish week growth scan weights to share? Does anybody know of a website that has a scale to show average fetal weight for gestation?

I had a 36 week growth scan with DD. She was 6lb 11oz at 36wks, so a fairly similar measurement to your LO. I was induced at exactly 40 weeks and she was 8lb 5oz (3.78kgs.) So slightly above average.

I googled average fetal weight for gestation and babycenter said for 36wks the average was 5.25lbs.

I have the little fella on Friday so I will keep you updated. Although you can't rely on the growth scans I'm guessing he will be around the 8lb mark which i don't think is too big.

I just had a scan at 38 weeks, he said she's roughly 6lbs 10oz, which I find really small. Even my bump is small. I would be super happy with 6lbs 14oz at 36&4. Either way it is all just an estimate. We will all know very soon how big they actually are!

I was estimated 6lb 9 at 36+2 slightly above average they told me but who knows

I think from memory Emma was estimated at 2900ish grams at 37+0. I had her at 38+6 and she was 3425g (7.5lbs).

The average girl is about 3.2kg at birth. Yours is estimated on the larger sides but it's my experience that scans tends to be quite off.

I had a scan at 36+1 this week and she measured 2600g (5lb11) and my doctor said she is quite small, not alarmingly small just a small little lady.. And that is still higher than what breeelizabeth found to be the average for 36 weeks according to babycenter 🤔

I don't know her exact measurements from the scan but her head circumference measured about 35 weeks.
