Hello everyone,
My name's Tan and I am 37 years old and just found out I am pregnant with my 1st child.
I was pregnant before in 2014 but it ended in miscarriage and it also ended my relationship with the person I was with at the time (yes, he left me on the same day I was sitting in hospital, getting confirmation that I was having a miscarriage and to make things worse, it was also my birthday!) Safe to say I was sure then that I would never have children of my own and in fact I swore that I would never trust a man again.
Fast forward to today, I am not exactly sure how I am pregnant because I have been taking contraceptive pills since August - only thing I can think is that for the past 3 months I have been "abusing" the pills a bit as I have gone to 3 different holidays and also in December I had a horrible 3 day diarrhea which apparently can affect the effectiveness of the pill.
But yes, I have done 3 tests now and they are all clearly positive. The strange thing is that I have no symptoms what so ever. Last week I had slightly sore breasts but even that's now gone (and I am only 4 weeks 5 days).
I don't really know how to feel about this all, I think part of me doesn't actually believe it... Maybe I need to make more tests haha.
