38 and confused about Ovulation or if it even happened

Hey everyone. I have two children, but never really paid much attention to signs of ovulation. I did post this in the 35 and older forum, but got no response. Any help or thoughts are appreciated. So, April 30th, I was feeling this full pressure like sort of cramping like pain in my lower abdomen. I don’t know whether it means I was ovulating or what. My husband and I did Baby dance that night at like midnight so technically May1 by times standards. I’m not sure if this was ovulation and my husband and I possibly baby danced right when an egg was released or what. Also if it’s ovulation would I have had to have sex in the day time as opposed to late night. I know this is strange. Another thing I have irregular periods at times although last months was regular 26 days. And based on the Flo app it’s close to my fertile days. Please help me understand. Thanks

There's no way to tell if you were ovulating or not as the pain twinges or whatever in the middle of the cycle could be that or could be after the egg released, if you have ever noticed your cm before, it changes throughout your cycle so when fertile you'll be wet or like eggy stuff, the only way to no for sure is temping so altho we can tell you all this we wouldn't no love, but the aching you said does sound maybe like ovulation xx
