I really have quite a story as i know many of us do here. But Im so lost right now and need a bit of encouragement. Im 38 hubby is 29 TTC our first and only child together for 5 yrs now . Two weeks ago we decided to finally go for more testing on his part after ttc for a whole yr religiously and my doc told me Im still good no problems. Im 232 lbs I was 238 2 wks ago ( i will get to the weight loss in a min). So my husbands SA came back low 10.5 but his motility was over 50% of the 10.5 and the specialist said that we had a chance of getting pregnant but that being not pregnant yet could be the reason behind it was him being low. Two weeks later Im sitting here after 5 yrs of regular 24 to 26 day cycles never late till now. Aug 24th was my last period . If i go by a normal 28 day cycle Im 5 days late. I took a hpt on Saturday Sept 21st and it was very faint pos. Today Sept 26th first morning was neg. I have lost weight for about a week as my 238 is now 232 . Has anyone had weighloss being obese and pregnant as a first initial sign? besides a pos hpt. I havnt changed my eating habbits at all and no exercise either. Is there a relation of over weight and hcg levels and weight loss that would make it where my hcg levels wouldnt be showing up on a first response preg test? Im waiting till the weekend to re test and see if after being a week late on a 28 day cycle ( which im normally not) will show a pos test. Any advise on if anyone didnt get a POS test till a week or more late would help. im so confused and now anxious.
