39w and being induced tomorrow

I am 39 weeks and 3days pregnant with my first child. I am having a little boy, who is due on the 26th of this month which is next friday. Two weeks ago when I went to my doctors appt they found protein in my urine and my blood pressure was high. Did a 24hr urine collection and everything came back ok, other then the doctor put me on bedrest. So this past wednesday he gave me the option of induction because I have not dialated at all. He said my cervex was completely closed. I agreed on the induction which is tomorrow night (sunday). I am writing because I was wondering everyone's input on being induced. If it's dangerous for the baby or if I should be worried. If it was a wrong decision to be induced. Because I am soo nervous about it. I have heard good things and also bad things.... ANY IDEAS????
