3d ultrasound advice

I'm currently pregnant with my 3rd child and have never a 3d ultrasound. Since it's our last baby my husband wants to get one. Thoughts/experience with them. Was it worth it. We are also team yellow so I don't want the 3d ultrasound to reveal anything.

I had one with my son at 26 weeks and it was totally worth it. I fell head over heels in love with his darling face, it was extremely exciting and perhaps one of the most special days I've ever had. I would have had one with my daughter too but we moved to a small town where they don't have any 4d scans.

I highly recommend! Its soo amazing seeing your baby before birth. Just let the tech know you dont want to see gender and they should be able to stay away from that region

I have mine coming up on Wednesday I can't wait (I'll be 24+5). We had a peak at it at the 16 week gender scan and although you could see everything he was still quite small and skinny

We're on our 4th and final baby and we've booked one for 28 weeks as we've never had one before. We're team yellow too so will be making sure nothing is revealed! x

I had one with both my girls at 27w5d. I will definitely be doing again with this one I loved it, could clearly see what they looked like and could tell that they were nothing alike! Which they still aren't to this day!

I prepared so much to have one with my first baby. My Drs office used to do them at 30 weeks along, optional, for a fee. I drank tons of water, the scan was amazing, but it was my first baby and new and exciting to me. I tried to have one with my second baby, but he would not cooperate, and I got nothing out of it. This time, I had to redo my anomaly scan at 12+5, and the tech surprised me by switching the machine to 3D/4D for a quick face shot. So I have an amazing picture of my baby's face! I didn't do any of the preparations for it, the extra water and drinking orange juice and all the other tips they gave me the other times, and it was just perfect!!

I would never pay for another one, but that was a wonderful surprise. I do not think it is worth the money, personally, but many people do!

Thanks everyone one. We decided to go ahead and book the appointment. We will be going in a couple of weeks, I'll be about 29 1/2weeks when we go!
