So much for getting bigger with each pregnancy! With dd1, I had a noticeable (but not huge) bump an then with dd2 it was still a bump but not as big.. This time I've hardly anything there at all. People have no idea I'm pregnant and are shocked when I tell them. Dd1 was 8lb 14oz and dd2 was 8lb 1oz but significantly smaller (the midwife who delivered dd1 said she looked at least 10lbs)

I'm sure all is fine as at my 16 appointment my uterus was exactly where it was meant to be, and I feel baby moving every day (still mainly at night and only when I'm say quietly.) but I can't help but feel baffled. Maybe my baby will just be smaller again? Or my fluid isn't as high? (Although it was always normal with my other 2, never on the high side.)

Anybody else's bumps get smaller with each pregnancy?

My mum's did. I was 7lb 5oz at 36.5 wks, no2. 8lb 3oz at 41 wks and then she had a premmie at 32 wks but was only beginning to wear maternity clothes in the the few weeks before and was still in the equivalent of a UK6/8 in everything else. For her it was less fluid in each subsequent pregnancy - plus running around after other children. She carried differently in each pregnancy (all girls) and had less ms with each pregnancy. I was pretty small 1st pregnancy. This time I've gained more weight (was half a stone lighter this time at the beginning) and my bump is showing 4wks earlier, but I seem to have skipped the chubby step and I'm still wearing my usual skinny jeans. Last time, even though I didn't have a bump I found tight waistbands too uncomfortable. Wondering if bump wise I might follow her.

I'm a lot smaller this time but I lost 75lbs after I had my third. My starting weight this time was similar what it was with my first baby, maybe even a bit less. I was tiny with her, but then she was tiny too! With my other two no-one realised I was pregnant unless I told them, even right at the end, but I wasn't that small.. I just carried it well. I'm 6ft tall and my torso hides babies :)

I expected to be bigger and show earlier than I did the last time, and I'm not, which felt strange for me. Especially sometimes when I look at my bump, it doesn't look like an 18 week bump to me. Last time I was in maternity clothes at 19 weeks. For the most part, right now I'm still in most of my regular clothes. In fact, I tried on my maternity clothes last week and I'm swimming in them! So I don't know... I have more healthy cravings this time around (lots of fruit mostly), and an hardly eating junk food...so I don't know if that makes a difference? Maybe I'm just weighing less than my last pregnancy. But you always hear about being bigger the second time around and so far that's not been the case for me.

I was just going to google search this very question! 15 weeks with boy #3.
Pic is me yesterday at 15+1. Crazy! I don't remember being this small with 1 & 2. I suppose weight wise I am smaller than I was with my other two and much more active, wonder if that makes a difference.
