3rd labour experiences please :)

Hi everyone

I'm nearly 10w pregnant with our 3rd. I wanted to know how your labours were with your 3rd in terms of time in labour and time pushing!!! I KNOW all labours vary - but just hoping for some general views

I was in labour for about 16hrs with Toby, pushing for a couple before having him with ventouse.
I was in labour for around 6-8hrs with Poppy, but the 4cm-10cm part was VERY fast (like an hour ish) and then she popped out in about 15mins.

I can't cope with pain at all. I had lots of drugs with Toby lol. But with Poppy my epidural failed 3 times and I did it on gas and air alone. I did not like it!

I will be keeping an eye on this thread, I am 31 weeks with my third! First labour my waters broke at 37 weeks, then had to be induced, long labour and ended up with ventouse! Second I went 10 days over was due to be induced the following day but thankfully started naturally! In labour for 10 hours pushing for a few of those! I seem to have problems with the pushing stage so am going to start RLT this time, hoping this time will be a bit quicker but I know each one is so different!

Erm - I must say it was my best 1 - but very quick !

Woke up with a big contraction - phoned midwife right away as she was coming to hospital to deliver him.

Well we never got to hospital - midwife arrived just in time to catch him (in a blanket as she left everything in her car)

40 mins from waking up untill placenta was delivered !

I was in a bit of shock after for about an hr but they just kept a close eye on me.

No pain relief at all (no time) but it was my best labour/birth of all !!!

He was 9lb 5oz - my biggest baby -I have had 7
