3rd time lucky - worried after scan

Hi everyone.

I've had 2 miscarriages in april and july of last year. I am pregnant again, 6 weeks 3 days. I went for a scan yesterday. We saw baby and heartbeat but baby was measuring 5 weeks 6 days. I am really worried incase things go wrong again. With both pregnancies before I was spotting from 3 weeks and this time I've had no spotting at all. I've had all the tests after miscarriage and everything is normal, hubby too. What did you guys see at 6 week scan?

hi hun try not to worry you might of just implanted late 4 days isnt much to worry about. what was ehe crl length on yr scan pic? as i had my scan yesterday and they wouldnt date me lol and im roughly the same as you.

Hey, are you able to book in for another scan? It might put your mind at ease about it, because the scan was done so early, it can be hard to have it measure exactly the correct date, try not to worry too much, I'm
The same, I had 2 mc last year, and currently 8 weeks preg, still not been given a scan, so I have no idea what is going on... I'm just trying not to worry, because there is nothing I can do now anyway, and the less stress I have the better for baby and me!

At this stage they really can't date accurately - at my 6+5 scan they wouldn't date me as you can be + / - 5 days of that estimate and they found it scared ladies unnecessarily - the fact they saw a hb was enough at that point.

Try not to worry I know that's nigh on impossible but seeing the hb is statistically fantastic - your chances of a fab outcome have just shot up!!

Hey, try not to worry it is quite normal at early scans to be put back a few days I had a scan a week ago and they measured me at 6 weeks and 1 day which put me back about 5 days, the lady scanning me wasnt concerened at all she said its only a few days and thats very common. I know how scary it is to be pregnant after a mc I suffered 3 last year and get really worried sometimes with this pregnancy but try to stay positive

thats brilliant that you saw a heart beat really good so keep that in mind give or take a few days this early can be normal xxx

As others have said, it's really hard to be accurate with the measurements this early on and it might be that you ovulated a couple of days later than you thought and your bean took a little while longer to implant than you thought.

The no spotting is an excellent sign, it all sounds really positive! I will ahve my fingers crossed for you xxx
