3years of ttc!

Hi folks,

We have bee trying for 3years with no luck

Tests have all come back ok!! getting my tubes checked in March!!! But there nothing that has made us worried.... am guessing the fertility clinic will offer some clomid or ivf??

Am very luck I feel preg young and had a daughter who is now 9!!! my star..


Hoping this month!!

as I have felt weird!!!

sore heads
heart burn
lower backpain
dizzyness
needing to use the toilet more reg.

hi weve been trying for just over 2 years doc is rubbish i had my b'test back today with no explanation or follow on appoinment just they are fine !!!

its so hard sometimes to ever imagine you'll get your BFP i know but maybe its finally your month let us know how you get on!

Hey all!! thanks heaps for ur replys makes me happy!!

Nothing to report really, felt slight sick today but I think it was my tummy needing lunch, I will just have to wait till I miss my AF!!!

When I was preg with my daughter 9years ago, It took ages for a positive test to show, I needed to get bloods done and even that came back sayn I wasnt prego???

Finally Bloods came back positive then the preg test afew days after, I new cause I was sooooooooooooooooooo sick wow will never forget the sickness!!!!

I wonder if its cause I suffer from a rare blood disorder - my blood is to thick and clots to much... I will have to inject heprin to help thin my blood. Still learning about it all only found out in Nov foir getting the Lupis tests....

i've been reading the board for a long time but not joining in, i'm glad i have now. i've found it really comforting this week being able to talk on here with other people in similar situations

i'm 3 days late now on my first month of clomid but i've done 2 tests so far and both have come back negative. its so hard not to sign spot when really all you can do is wait... i would imagine they will offer you clomid next so even if its not your month this month then hopefully you can try clomid and see if that works for you.

If you don't mind me asking how long have you been trying for? I was under the impression I would only be offered clomid if I have problems with ovulation?!? And I don't! Hummm???

Do you knw if you get offered clomid even if u have normal ovulation every month.

I have been ttc for over 3 years now, and have already been to see a FS and refused treatment because of my weight (which they know im battling with) im now a size 16!! and with my second opinion they said no to treatment as im too young with the IVF clinic im reffered to for my catchment area you have to be 23 and 12 stone so i do not qualify as im 21 (hubby is 26 next month) we have unexplained infertility and our GP wont help us either, they say we are too young and that i need a dietitian more than i need a baby.

hi sparkle i've been ttc for 2 years now, i'm 35 and it would be my first.

i was told i wasn't ovulating and when i had a hycosy it showed one blocked tube that was when the fs offered us 3 months of clomid. you're right, usually its offered to people who dont ovulate on their own. sorry i forget not everyone isnt ovulating haha but i have heard some women who do ovulate have been offered it too. you should discuss it all with your fs next time you get an appointment, find out what your options are.

the first appointment we had with the fs she picked up on the fact that my partner smokes and she told us we wouldnt be put forward for IVF if either of us smoked. she then said she was only warning us because there was a long way to go before IVF was considered and i would guess they'd try other things with you before they put your forward for IVF.

saying that every case is different so as i said the best idea is to straight out ask, what are my options... what's next...

i would think they'd suggest other things before they put you up for IVF, especially at your age but didnt they suggest anything else you could try? did they simply brush you off because of your weight and age?

sorry you're being treated like that just because you're young. i dont understand it either, i mean like you said you're not 60 stone so whats the harm in trying you on some clomid? i hope you find a dr who's more sympathetic soon
