i wana a puppy!! im freaking out that Poppie has been caught :/ i have no experience whatsoever with pregnant dogs or even what to look out for. any advice Nic?
rach dont worry about the not rolling over thing, my friends daughter has never ever rolled but is walking, talking and fully potty trained at only 14months lol still cant roll lol oooo lady only 4 days to go!!! yaaay!

Brandy i cant believe your half way through your pregnancy!! its went so so so quick!!

Cam got his 3rd set of jags today (finally!!!) and is perfectly happy i was expecting a bit of a grumpy baby but he has been really funny lol he mastered clapping today! he just turned to look at me, gave me his cheeky smile and just started clapping! he was killing himself laughing lol He got weighed today and he is bang on 16lbs!!! slooooooowly getting there. still waiting on referal but got a call from his doc today saying she had put through an emergency consultation referal with any pediatric consultant instead of just trying to get his one so should hear back within the week. am glad someone is actually doing something. Stirling royal and Falkirk have been closed and moved into super hospital so everything is now taking ages. still havent heard from his dietician and thats been 3months! grrrrr!!!

Abby got weighed to shes now 10lb4 and not eatting as much she may have had been bunged up on sma so is now on c&g trying bthat to see how she feeds.

di im worried coz it could be the staffy next door or dalmation across the street or the lhaso apso at the other side lol there are loads and loads of dogs in my area lol she escaped the back garden and it took me an hour and a half to find her. and i found her sitting on my door step lol 2 or 3 times she managed this while in heat lol she wont let me touch her tummy and growls if i try which is very unlike her lol all she has done for past fortnight has been sleep and eat thats it. she wont even play :/ bit concerned lol dnt have a clue what to do!! ach well di! is af still late? xxxx

Get her to the vet hun if its a big dog she would struggle to deliver them.

kirsty, she is a lab isnt she? Am sure she would cope with pups from any of those! Is she a lab? Im sure u said she was! Awww... Sounds like she might be with her strange behaviours! If she is.. I want 1! Haha.. U will be a granny too!
Still no sign of af so mustve ovd late! Grrrr... Dont know why my cycles are getting longer! They were always 28 days then 31, recently 34 and god knows how long this ones gonna be!

oh right! Oops dont know where i got lab from! Em... Im trying to remember, when honey died kirstie had said if i never had another dog by the time poppy had pups i could have one of hers! Thought she was a lab. Eek. Quite scary if shes small then aint it. Must be different for dogs, but for horses even if the dad is huge and the mum is tiny the foal only grows to accomadate her size. I wana know what breed she is now. Is there pics on fb of poppy?

i think thats usually the rule but less likely in pure breds due to the breeding

just saw pics of poppy on fb as a puppy! Shes a little westie i think! West highland terrier! If any of those are the dad she will have very interesting puppies! Lol

UGH puppies are as much work as newborn babies lol

Kirstie the vet told me its kinda hard to mate a small female to a larger male unless they have some help its the height thing lol and mom usually determines the size of the pups the only time you run into alot of trouble is if she only has one or two puppies then they can grow to big for her to have also her nipples will stay large and so will her girl bits at about 4 to 5 weeks she will lose her tuck up and her belly will round she may be off her food or could eat all day its usally one or the other she may also vomit they go an average of 63 days from the first tie so id just count from the first day she got out they have phantom pregnancy so the only way to tell for certain is to really wait it out the only sure sign is the growing belly and a discharge of white to yellow mucus like stuff from her girl bits I wouldnt worry to much over it for the most part they do just fine its usually after they have the pups that there not sure what to do I went as far as rubbing peanut butter on the pups last night so paisley would get the idea that she needs to lick them so they will use the bathroom

Di I would give you one I really dont sell them just ask for what ever im out for each pup on vet fees for shots and worming and I usually dont breed unless I have good homes for the pups first Im kinda worried since Millie was an accident I dont have homes lined up she had 5 last time only three made it since they were so small less then an ounce each at birth the little male from that litter is full grown at 2 pounds

so the mummy is the chiouowa (sp!) eek... Sorry can not spell that word! And paisley is pregnant too right? Aww i would take 1 or 2 in a heartbeat if we where closer! I would love a tiny dog. My friend has a shitzu cross bichon frise and he is sooo cute! Such an easy dog to look after too.
