4 days late and brown discharge ??

So I am 4 days late on my period. Today around 1030 I noticed some brown discharge on my liner not very much but enough to notice. It's been 3 hours and I've been checking every hour and nothing more has come of it. Do you think it's my period coming or maybe implantation? But I feel like it's so late for implantation. Thoughts please?

If it's brown it's old blood. So could may well be from implantation.
Have you taken a test?

Yeah it's just brown. I checked my cervix and it's still high and hard. And I had a bit of brown/pinkish discharge on my finger.
