4 Days Late.... negative test

We have been trying to conceive for 6 months and last month were referred to a fertility doctor, where he ran a slew of blood tests, semen tests, ultrasounds etc etc etc....

This is where we are at...

CD 1 was April 20 AF lasted until CD6
Had Intercourse CD 7; 10; 12; 14; 16 19; 23
Had a gush of blood during/after intercourse on CD 23 (sorry TMI); then very light brown thick spotting on CD 24; 25; 26
Period is always between CD 27 - 29
Currently CD 33

Negative Tests CD 29 (Clear Blue) & CD32 (Frist Response Digital - which I may not have done correctly as I was half asleep - first thing in the morning - and I didn't wait for the solid clock before testing - I should have read the instructions)

Have light CM - it is a combination of water/eggwhite consistency. No sign of AF at all. Have had unusual sensitive nipples - I wouldn't say soreness, but sensitive and a bit sore to the touch - and on and off breast tenderness. Have had an ongoing headache since CD 28. Back ache started last night; and have had major nose stuffiness and sneezing (could be allergies for sure) since CD 29. I have also felt waves of feverish feeling and dizziness for last 24 hours.

Is it a late period? Do I have the flu? Could I be a slow bloomer with my hormones? What would you do - anyone else have experience with late BFP?

forgot to mention I have a follow up apt with fertility doctor in 6 days where they will do blood work

It could sound promising but I'd wait for your appointment and mention it. It is very odd that you had a gush of blood though

I have short cycles and there are times that AF had come a week early. Freaked me out completely, however, a couple weird cycles a year are normal. I almost want to bet that that weird gush was actually AF and was just light and early. Hope it's not, but I have been in that situation before., except my early AF is on cd 17 yikes! Went on to have normal cycle the following month.
