This is my speech I haven't taken any of the names out purely because I really can't be botherd:
You may well be wondering what the Bride is doing making a speech. Well, those of you who know me well, you will know that I always have talked too much and usually find a way to get my two pence worth in so it probably is no surprise! I also wanted to say thank you to those deserving in my own words. But first I would like to take a minute to remember the people who couldnt be with us today, Adams Gran who is too ill to make it today, my granddad Roy and My Dad Nigel who are sadly no longer with us so if you would please raise your glasses to absent family and friends.
Now when I decided to write this speech I was struggling with how to word everything and most of you know that I cant spell to save my life so I am going to keep it brief so I dont embarrass myself or you for that matter.
I would like to thank Suzanne and Dave for welcoming me into their family home where I came for Christmas and never really went home and thank you for putting up with me I know it mustnt of been an easy task.
I would like to thank Gail who put up with me moaning and stressing out about the wedding and you look absolutely stunning today.
I would like to thank Kane for being brother of the bride you look very smart in your suit and you have definitely done me and Adam proud and I know my dad would be thinking the same.
I would also like to thank Grant, Adams best man for signing our register today and for looking very smart in his suit although I know he really didnt want to wear the colour red.
What can I say about my matron of honour? She helped me with many things during this wedding but I would like to thank you mostly for just being here and not in the delivery room!
Keith our usher and DJ you look very smart in your suit and thank you for being with us today.
I would also like to thank my grandma for paying for all the card and envelopes that I used when I was making all the stationary for today and our few trips to the craft shop to get those little extras that we needed.
I would also like to thank my mum and Paul for helping us pay for the food if it wasnt for them you would be eating m&ms for your main rather than the roast beef or quiche.
I would also like to thank Lil for the flowers they are absolutely stunning thank you so much for doing this for us.
I would like to give a special mention to a couple who have come up to Manchester from Reading to supply us with the Bentley, Thank you so much for going out of your way to give us the Bentley on our special day, it means so much.
I would like to thank Steve & Gaynor and their bar staff for helping prep the room and supplying us with this lovely meal the room looks fantastic.
And now I would like to thank my husband, for loving me and putting up with me....I really dont know how you put up with me sometimes but I love you for loving me and I love your smile and I love that I can tell you everything but most of all I love you for being you.
So if you could all please raise your glasses To friends and family.
hun I'm sure the excitement will kick in soon for you. I'm going to be the same even the thought of being centre of attention and having to speak in front of people is making me freak out. I'm sure it will all go smoothly for you though sweetie. x
