Hi Everyone,
I'm Ashlee and I am new to this whole thing, but I feel like I need some support while TTC and so I thought I would give it a try! I am 22 and my husband is 27. We have been married 1 year and have been TTC for about 4 months. I just started charting last month. Also, I have never been on birth control. All of our friends have gotten pregnant the first or second month they have tried, and so I am stressing and so scared that we may not be able to have kids. I know that doctors say not to worry until 1 year of TTC, but I can't help it, I'm freaked out about it! Am I really worrying too soon? Everyone I know says I just need to calm down and it is too early to worry.

It seems like everyone around me is pregnant. We were so hoping to be pregnant right before Christmas and were not, it was really hard and on Christmas day I found out that 3 of my friends were pregnant. I feel like I am obsessed with googling everything about pregnancy and I can't stop thinking about it or talking about it. I feel like I'm going crazy!!

Anyways, sorry for the long post. And I don't know all the abbreviations yet, so bear with me : )

Ashlee, welcome to TTC!! I do think you are worrying to early, however I know what it is like to be trying and everyone around you just seems to think about a baby and get knocked up. 4 months is not that long, on average it takes a couple that has sex regularly about a year. I would also advise you if you havent to go get the tests done at your gyno, that might also put your mind at ease. And TTC is like a disease lol I am obsessed with it to!! Do not worry it is normal I think we all google everything. LOL. I tell hubby everyday that I want a baby. Anyways hope this helped! Good luck to you!

Hi emr11! Yes, that helps, thank you! I just feel like I m driving everyone around me crazy by talking about it so much, especially my hubby. I haven't had any tests done yet. Will they do that if you haven't been ttc for very long?

Yes, it is actually what they prefer you to do before you get preg. They test all your hormones and everything for STDS etc. Just to make sure you are healthy and your hormones are in order and everything is working as it should. I mean it will not tell you if there are any problems like ovulating and stuff, but if your hormones and stuff are in check and you have regular periods then you have great chances. I went after like 6 months of trying, we have been trying over a year now and still nothing. But I talk about it everyday just like you, however I only talk to hubby about it because we havent really told our family, and all my friends are to busy being not married and crazy, or preggo.. If you ever just need to vent or something to somone you can always message me! I will not judge or think your crazy cause I compleatly understand what your going through.

I completely understand what you are going through, my fiance and I are on month 4 as well! We are getting married in 3 weeks and my gyno told me I wasn't ovulating and would never become pregnant but then my family dr said because i am having regular periods i should be ovulating so we are waiting for her to recieve the test results from the gyno and if it says im not ovuating we are trying clomid.. I am so nervous that i may not become pregnant but so hoping I do! OH and I want babies so badly!
