My 4 week old LO is breasted but occasionally at night I'll give him a bottle, usually he would have 3-4 dirty nappies a day but for about the past 4 days he's only been going once a day, quite a substantial amount, sometimes coming out of sides of nappy, normal colour etc, I'm just wondering if this sounds normal?

Still feeding as normal.

Sounds normal to me. If exclusively breastfed they can go up to 10 days with out a bowel movement and be considered normal.

Yes. Normal. I think my LO did something similar around that age.

For breastfed babies, anywhere from 7-10x per day to once every 7-10 days is normal. It is quite normal for it to "explode" (for some reason, this applies whether it's 10 days worth of poop or the 10th one of the day, a little poopie can make quite the explosion!).

Also, the color range for "normal" for breastfed poop is quite large. Anywhere from yellowish to brownish to green (although some times stranger ends of the spectrum can indicate an issue), as long as it's not black or bloody, it's more than likely normal.
