If i put him in bouncy chair OK for a minute and then screams again... I swear he knows if I take two steps from him....

Generally I can lay him down for naps...getting spoiled or what...

You really can't spoil a newborn. After being inside you for nine months he needs the closeness. But of course you have to get things done too. My daughter will only let me put her down if she's in a deep sleep first. Have you tried that?

Three times today, I thought he was limp and snoring..moved him to his bassinet once screamed, tried swing and bouncy chair too

I put my daughter down and get her back up atleast 4 times before she finally stays asleep! The only time I don't have to fight with her to sleep in her bed is in the middle of the night she goes back down easily but during the day she wants me and it's exhausting especially when I'm planning on napping with her or finally getting the house cleaned. I figured it's cause they need to be close to us but it kinda scares me thinking she'll be like this forever...everyone like well don't hold her so much and I'm like uhhhhhh that's impossible I breast feed for one and for 2 she's way to young to let cio!

Have you tried wearing her in a wrap/sling? They usually love sleeping in there and that way you have your hands free to get stuff done. I used to have to wear my daughter all the time at that age.

My son was like this for the first 3 months or more. Mind you he had a bit more issues (we had latch and supply issues due to tongue tie so he was constantly hungry for the first 4 months). But I know a lot of babies are the same. Some refer to it as the 4th trimester where they really need to be close to you after being inside for so long.

I know! My mom and sisters say that all the time too.

I hear ya!! Invest in a good sling. Saved my sanity! ! X

Then don't put him down! Get yourself a sling, if you want to try before you buy look for a sling library near you. Otherwise try a wheat bag in his basket to warm it, if he goes from warm you to cold mattress that's enough to wake anyone...x

I ordered a sling online from sevensling.com I had a coupon so it was free I only paid for shipping I think it's priced at 35 bucks not including shipping..but all the ones I seen in store were like 40-50 bucks and didn't look like they would last very long.

I have used my mei tai just fine with Mickey but there are so many to choose from. As sj said, a sling library is a good idea xx

My son did the same thing til last week! When he was 5 weeks. I got a baby carrier. That helps during the day when I need to make food, clean, laundry, etc. Then, when I wanted him to sleep (aside from feeds and changes), I turn the lights off at 9pm every single night and don't bring him into a bright-lit room until about 7 or 8 am. I did this for a week straight and it did the trick. This may not work for everyone, but it was good advice I got from a friend. You can try white noise too. The TV turned up just enough to hear it on a station that doesn't work, or maybe a mobile with nature sounds, or even calming music. I use those whenever he's getting fussy late at night and it seems to work well. I know it's exhausting- I've actually lost weight because he wouldn't let me put him down long enough to make a meal! It gets better and easier though. Good luck!
