Hi everyone,
I have no idea if this is the rigt place for this as there isnt really a place for expressed breast milk feeding, but as its via a bottle hoping you can all help me!!
My little girl is 3.5 weeks old, she has always fed every 3 hours, waking up at night at max 3.5 hours, taking a normal feed and then going back to sleep most of the time pretty well - i know lucky!!
She does have reflux so we have to hold her up after a feed for a long time which is a pain but other than that pretty good.
At 3.5 weeks she is having 100ml or 4 oz most feeds, sometimes 5oz. but she has started to wake up for night feeds only wanting 2-3 oz.
Overall she is having about 25 oz a day so i am wondering if the reason she is lowered her night feeds is just that she isnt hungry - she has also increased the time to 4 hours at night only.
I know lowering feeds at night is a sign they are getting ready to drop a feed, and i am bloody exausted so i know this should be a good thing but i am worried about the fact she is eating so much less to eat at night at such a young age!
Does anyone have any advice?!
thanks!! xx
PS just realised i really ought to update my signature on here, havent been on much since birth!!
