Well.. I will be 41 in a couple of weeks. My husband will soon be 43. He has a teenage daughter from his first marriage but we sooo want one together. I do not have any...yet (I have to remember to say "yet" to remain hopeful!)
A little history, we have been ttc for about 3 years now. A couple of months ago, after going through pretty much every test and having them come back normal, we were told that we have "unexplained infertility" and to go to a specialist. But then I started experiencing some really strange pains that..long story short, turned out to be internal scar tissue.
Not endometriosis but some scar tissue formation that was fusing my insides together. While my ob/gyn was in there fixing that situation, she did the HSG (the one thing we didn't do because our insurance wouldn't cover it for some reason and we were trying to figure out how to pay for it.) Turns out, both of my tubes were blocked so..we take that as good news..not so "unexplained" after all! She was able to clear them both.
We are hoping to get pregnant in the next few months, but of course, as you all know, the whole process is really stressful. My husband is so supportive and wonderful, but I can't always talk to him in the same way I can maybe talk with some of you who know from the female perspective.
So...... here I am. Thanks for reading!!!
