Happy to have you over here Shanna. Excuse my ignorance but what is IR? What do you have going on with your cycle now? Did you ever get your period?

IR-insulin resistance it sux..... no my cycle never came just that crazy spotting with a tiny bit of red, it never came full flow and all my preg test r neg....its so frustrating

I got my blood work back.. and its a I more upset for thinking I was, theres still a chance we could be, because we were still trying this month. So now we are 3dpo, so we are back to trying!

4 dpo and I have the fluttery stretching feelings in my lower abdomen as well as twingey pains in my boobs, mostly around the nipples.

Also feeling hungry a little more than usual and tired despite getting lots of sleep...

Thanks! Boob twinges have subsided for now but my tummy still has that fluttery feeling - lower than nervous butterflies and wrong area for gas!

I hope everyone is having a good day?!! I'm really sorry about your BFN Bunni, but like you said - on to next month, enjoy bding - and you'll be celebrating that BFP very soon I'm sure

AFM, I'm expecting AF any day now but as yet no sign. I try not to symptom spot cos I've got myself very disappointed in the past. BUT.....I don't have any of my usual AF syptoms that I would have been fully expecting by now. My boobs aren't really painful and I don't have my usual killer headache. I do feel pretty hormonal and moods are up and down (but that isn't really normal for me either).

Who knows, what I have learned in my ttc journey so far is that I can't second guess my body - just when I think I can predict what is going on, it totally changes it's pattern!

So I'm not being optimistic, and trying to resist the urge to test - as I hate seeing those BFNs. But am thinking I may give in and test tomorrow if still no sign of the witch!!

I have a question.......will being overweight effect my ability to get results on an ultrasound? I just read a little piece online that said it could.

Not at all!! Here are my bump pics - I've only just started showing - and despite the rather large amount of flab around my belly the sonographers had absolutely no problems finding my little girl for either of my scans. The first was taken at 23+1 and the second at 24+3.

I've also put both my scan pics on.

It's only the attitude of the sonographer that causes problems!!!

I remember thinking the same when I was at your stage - time seemed to drag so badly and now I'm almost in 3rd tri!!!

I'm having a growth scan at 32 weeks so will have another pic to post. Gonna get another bump pic soon but I don't feel like it's any bigger at the moment.

Ok I just want to give a STANDING OVATION to bigbetty! Girl there are not many women who would not post the pictures of there baby bump when they are big girls and I am SOOO happy you did because maybe now we will all start doing it when we get our bumps! Thanks, I really think you just started a trend for this thread! I love you!! I was just ranting to my husband about how I was afraid to show my baby bump if I got pregnant but I am not afraid anymore! Thanks again! You are awesome!

The way I look at it we are all equipped the same - I just have more than my fair share hahahaha!!

Actually if you pop over to the 2nd tri forum there is a thread for plus sized bump pics, although I haven't posted mine there yet.
