I was out of town for the Canadian Thanksgiving Holiday but now I'm back! I sure missed a lot! Thanks for sharing your bump pic betty- absolutely gorgeous! We're shaped about the same so now I have a good idea of what my bump will look like! You've also confirmed that I'll be able to keep my pregnancy a secret for quite a ways into it! I've had a couple of losses so my next pregnancy I plan to keep it myself (and DH) until I'm well into my 2nd or maybe even my 3rd trimester. But, easier said than done!

Anyone else addicted to POAS WAAAAAAY before it would probably show positive? I am. :( I'm between 9-12 DPO... which if I'm at 12DPO there is a chance... but 9 probably not at all. and I POAS yesterday (8-11 DPO) and got a :bfn:. Why I do this to myself I have no idea! I have one test left and I really want to hold out until Sunday but I'm not sure I can!

Little spy - I love greyhounds and when i have more time we are hoping to foster for the retired greyhound trust here. Any piccys??
Of course!
I'm at work so I don't have access to my pictures since image hosting sites are blocked on the network here (which also means I won't be able to see your fuzzies until I get home), but here are a couple of pics I have on my work computer.

Mo is red fawn (with the hat.. I know it's ridiculous but that's the first picture I ever saw of him & I fell in love! And he's also the dog with the kids at a "Meet & Greet" event for greyhound adoption.) and Kid is fawn brindle in the mud puddle (:dohh:) and with my kitty Peebie when she was about 12 weeks old.

I used to foster for a greyhound adoption group but once our permanent dog total reached 6 I found it was pure madness to have a #7 coming and going all the time.

Edit: Oh, and by the way Kid is wearing a muzzle because he was at a playday with a LOT (about 25) of other greyhounds & that's a requirement (because greys get racy & nippy when they race & since they have thin skin, even a little nip can turn into a nasty gash so muzzles are just a safety precaution!)

so when AF is due i am dry as far as cm goes..but this cycle i had an abundance of creamy lotion like cm, so i kind of figured AF wouldn't come and we she didn't i continued to get lotion like cm but bfns so..AF is a week and 3 days late and i still have lots of creamy cm but yesterday morning it was pink.inserted a tampon and got loads of ewcm..this morning got lots of creamy cm but it was tan and actually had a blob of blood..inserted tampon and got nothing but yellow cm.??? any idea as to whats going on?? no cramping at all so i highly doubt that is AF

If AF is over a week late have you done a home pregnancy test? CM that is brown or a bit pink could be implantation bleeding.

But then it could just be mother nature playing tricks on you and she is just running a little later than usual - the month before I got my bfp AF was 2wks late.

To answer your question thumbshoes, I just enabled my POAS obsession by buying IC OPKs and PTs on eBay. :haha: I did pretty well last cycle only testing twice with dollar store tests (mind you, that's with AF showing up 2 days before I expected her to!). When I thought I was pregnant a couple of months ago I think I took 8 HPTs in 11 days. :dohh:

I've never tried the IC strips before. I was interested in trying an OPK just out of curiosity but I certainly didn't want to spend $20 on an OPK at retail (I guess I'm coming out of the "I'm cheap" closet in this post). So for $5.99 (USD) I got 15 OP strips and 5 PT. I figure that should hold me through this cycle at least. I could've gotten 75 OPs and 25 PTs for $16.99 or 100 O/50 P for $19.99 but... that many seemed a little excessive. I can pretty much guarantee I'll be buying more if there's going to be another cycle after this one though.

I have done some hpts and i got a faint positive followed by 3 bfns so idk..its all driving me nuts

Well you can't get a false positive! I did 2 strip tests which were both really really faint, then a digital one.

Perhaps leave it a couple of days and try again love.

Fingers crossed for you!!!!

Hi Ladies,
I love the dog pictures. You both have such beautiful dogs. I have a 18week old chocolate lab she is still pretty wild but we love her. I had 2 cats before I had children and got the dog after. The cats pretty much just didn't come around as much after having my ds and with the dog she does pretty well with the children but I'm glad she won't be as much of a puppy by the time we have another baby.

Beautiful pups!!

Vrainoire - How frustrating for you! Maybe leave it another couple of days and try another test?? The creamy CM sounds very promising though.

Littlespy - Lovely dogs! Fully understand about the muzzle as we have one for Cassie (our Lucher) as a couple of the shows we go to make it a requirment.

From what I can remember, thats a bit how mine looked, but mine was a bit more brown. It was definitely quite creamy like that mixed in with the cm rather than thin like AF blood.

Hey ok, I have NO idea what implantation bleeding should look like, but I am going to post a picture in a spoiler.

Someone please tell me what type of cervical mucus this would be or tell me if you have had it too.

I've never experienced anything like that, but it looks promising!! :dust:

Oooooh I'm all excited for you now!!!!! I really really hope it is!!!!!!

Vrainoire - FX'd for you! :dust:

Bunnigrl - FX'd for you too, that looks super-promising and oh I hope... :dust:

As for me?

6dpo. Stretchy, pulling feeling still around accompanied by a nervous feeling higher up. Less tired today so far (yay!) and tender, not-quite-sore boobs.
