My letter saying when my interview for my green card came yesterday - November 23 is the big day.

It'd be awesome to know that I was pregnant for that day, since we have to bring all this evidence of our relationship with us - what'd be more convincing (in addition to reams of emails over the past 2 years, photos, everything) than us being pregnant? :haha:

AF is due a week before the interview, so I could be! Fingers crossed!!!

BigBetty -- I'm LOVING your bump! :flower:

I'm still trying not to get overly excited about this. Especially because I just started checking cervical position a few days ago. It has been what I consider very low and very firm and closed for the past 3 days. Tonight it has disappeared! Either it's so high I can't reach it or it's so soft I can't figure out where it is.

I was very bloated/pressurey/crampy from last night all through this morning and afternoon. Still bloated now but feeling a little better. My boobs blew up earlier today and now they're *definitely* tender. Way more so than during a regular cycle.

Of course I will be just fine if I'm not pregnant (try, try again! :winkwink:) but I think I have some serious and legitimate symptoms this go.

Hey ladies can i plse join this thread, how did i miss this amazing thread :dohh:
Where to start, im overweight with pcos :growlmad: been ttc for almost 2yrs  Dr wants me to lose weight but its not so easy :nope:
My cycles are sooooooo  that i dont know the diff between spotting & af

Hey ladies! I tried to give myself some breathing room during :witch: because I was driving myself nuts with this TTC stuff. I also loaded about 200 pictures from middle school and high school on facebook and the comments from those kept me VERY busy and in great spirits. I am pretty sure af is done with only one to two days of heavy bleeding which usually it is 4 or 5 for me.

Those baby bumps are beautiful, I don't think anyone should EVER be ashame to show it off. Welcome to any new ladies that have joined us!

Spy it does sound like you have something going on over there ;) Good luck with your green card appointment, Nov 23rd is my baby brothers birthday (he will be 22) but he will always be a baby to me  he hates i call him that.

Anybody have plans for halloween? We have decorated our house and are making a scary porch for the kids to get candy. It might be too much for the younger kids but we will see.

I am sooooo tired from working everyday! I hope you all have a beautiful Friday, here in Florida a cold front is coming so it should be a great weekend!

Ya know, I didnt realize just how many of us are in Florida! Yay! Cold Front!!

Okay, I have a another OPK question. I did my first OPK on Tuesday at 7pm, had a light line. Did another one on Wednesday at 7pm with absolutely no line, white as can be. So does that mean that I have already ovulated earlier in the week or late last week? Or does that mean that my system is just all jacked up? Lol!

I went to HS in Deltona :) Did you just move? I thought you were in Georgia and was gonna asj you questions as we may move there after the wedding :)

Last month was my first month using OPK and there was always a line just started out faint and got darker and darker then faint again. I would say if there was NO line than it was a bad test and test again :) This cycle I am going to use OPK's twice a day as I only used them at night last cycle and you can Ovulate within 6 hours of a surge.

PS Did you also see there is 2 storms brewing and a possible 3rd? On the news they said that they think this 2nd storm will hit Florida head on, great!!!! not :(

We had plans to move to Georgia, umm yesterday actually. So I went ahead and put Georgia for our location to begin with. Our house deal fell through there, so we are stuck here at least until Feb. Oh well. I love the beach in winter time! And no, I havent watched the news the last few days, I guess I need to turn it on! Lol!

But Atlanta is awesome! I grew up there. Lived there til I was 21. It is home so I am anxious to get back there.

Awesome! I have been to Atlanta a few times and love it as well. We were looking at Neunan (sp?) which is city/country i guess with a mix of races. I dont wanna live anywhere we are not accepted as a bi-racial couple. It is sad that people are still so ignorant to life and the world. Where we live now is a very racist area for the most part and I would not wanna raise kids here.

We get that too, but ya know, in Atlanta you are going to find that it is actually the black women that are going to have an issue with you more than anyone else. I hope no one takes offence to this, there is not a racist bone in my body. It is just what we as a couple have experienced. Atlanta has become such a melting pot that most other races, including white could care less. I can see it possibly being a problem if you lived out in the sticks, but for th most part we have never had any issues while there.

I know what you mean, sort of - my husband is Japanese/Hawaiian (and some other races as well) and I am white. We live in Hawaii, which has been a melting pot of races for a very long time. And yet we still get funny looks, or at least I get stink-eye from Samoan, Hawaiian, Japanese girls, and older women too. I try to just let it roll off my back. There's nothing I can do about it, so I try not to dwell on it. dH doesn't even notice.

Yep, I dont understand it. You love who you love. I get dirty looks and comments constantly. Not comments to my face mind you, but for example, one time we were coming out of Walmart and there were to young black women walking into the store, we had just barely past them when one of them said to the other very loudly, "Now, he knows he is wrong for being with her!" I looked over my shoulder and they are both glaring back at me lkie I had stolen one of their boyfriends or something! Lol! Makes no sense! I was 28yrs old when I met my husband. It's not like I was some hootchy teenage girl. My husband and I made an adult, concious decision to see eachother. Race never came into play. I just dont understand why anyone else would care who I choose to spend my life with or vice versa.:nope: I just pray that our children don't suffer for it.

I know, I don't understand it either. But I've always been an idealist.
It sucks though - I love Honolulu's Chinatown, but when we go shopping down there I am constantly getting "the look" from the older ladies. And around here where we live are a lot of Filipinos and Samoans - when we go to the drugstore the young girls look from me to him to our hands (we always hold hands) and I get "the look" too.
It's annoying, because I know that they are probably thinking I'm a rich tourist white girl just playing with a Hawaiian guy. Which is totally not true. But even my husband's family (not his parents/siblings, but extended family) were a bit cold before I won them over at our wedding reception. We know they assumed when dH's parents told them that he'd married a white girl, that I would be hoity-toity and stand-offish or something.
But at the end of the party, they all hugged me and two of his aunts said I "was local, just white" - which is a pretty big compliment

I know exactly what you mean, I have got comments before like we take all their good men and blah blah. We just laugh it off. Were we live now it is the staring us down that pisses me off. I would rather you say something that stare! And that's why we will move before we raise our kids here. Because if the kids are one way its because they get it from their parents.

That's just wrong. And to me like you said you can't help who you love and I notice it being the single ladies of any race who make the comments. I just wish people would get to know someone for who they are first before they judge someone. Like Star said they always hold hands so do we and they do look from me to him from him to me. A couple times when it has happened at the wrong time I say do you have a eye problem or make a comment to that effect. :haha: Both of you are married so it helps. We are not yet, so they see my ring but he has nothing. I did buy him a promise band for his right hand but still, growing up I learned that people are quick to not trust a man or say that all men cheat but I don't trust the other female and KNOW if they want something they will go for it. It's very sad what our society has become at times. Im just blessed that I found a great man. Sorry for my rant. :winkwink:

I wonder if it is just that way here in the states or if there is an issue with it other places as well?

And, yea! About the other women thing. It doesnt stop when you are married. For some strange reason women assume that because my husband is black that he is up for grabs married or not. They will flat out flirt with him in front of me!! He got asked for his phone number at the gas station one day with me not even 5ft away from him! It make for really good paranoia at times! Lol! Mind you, my husband would never in a million years even think about cheating on me. But seriously, how many times can you be tempted and have it shoved in your face before you start to at least wonder? Poor man! I constantly tease him that if he wasn't so damn sexy, we wouldnt have that problem! Lol!

Sparklegirl - I got ya all added! :hugs: Welcome again!

Anyone know when they are testing? I wanna add some testing dates! :happydance:

Lol, I think starting Monday I am going to test once every day with a $ store cheepie until I figure out my cycle.:dohh::haha::winkwink:
