I made myself a promise yesterday. I will not be testing again until Thanksgiving day. The BFN's everyday were already starting to get to me, so I am going to wait until the 25th to test. That way I am not dissappointed every day, and maybe, just maybe I will have something to really celebrate on Thanksgiving!

CD 19, 5 or 6 DPO.

No symptoms to report, just a niggling headache and some lotiony CM.

We'll see...

Giving birth can be a painful experience but it is worth it when u hold that precious bundle in your arms. I had an epidual with my son and did not have one with my daughter. I will definately be trying to go epidual free this time around I just didn't have as good of an experience having the epidual. It's definately a personnal choice and in the end as long as you end up with a healthy baby and mom all has gone well.

Hey everyone! I'm sorry i've been so rubbish at keeping up with this thread, i'm a pretty lame socializer, trying to read back through all the pages! It's a great thread.
I can't weigh myself anymore because my scales have broken :| but i'm convinced I've gained a bit since the weather has got colder.

I had an epidural with my son, after being in labor for a long time. I needed it. In the end I had to have an emergency forceps delivery because he just wouldn't come out and the heartbeat was dropping. My back was bad for ages after it. When I had my growth scan at 36 weeks the sonographer did say he had a big head circumphrence (sp?). It was on the 99.6th centile! I wish they had suggested a C-section at this point but it wasn't even mentioned. It would of saved a traumatic 42 hour labor, but obviously still completely worth every second :)

I am 9DPO (tested :bfn: but still early days) today and feeling off with cramps but.. I have urinary tract infection so i'm betting it's down to that :(! Anyway enough of blabbing on.
How is everyone doing today?

Reading back............

Wow firerabbit that stinks but at least the little man made it out okay. Long labor has got to be tough I know both of my sisters had long labours and went for the epidural many women can only endure pain that intense for so long. I know that having an epidural can make it harder to push. My son def took longer to push out with an epidual but he was no 1 and my daughter was number 2 but face up with no epidural and I pushed her out pretty quickly only 15min of pushing.

Hope all u ladies r doing well. I'm on cd4 so nothing too exciting af is starting to head out but I prob won't o for another 10-15days so now it's just waiting time.

Congrats on 30 weeks, BigBetty! How exciting!! :happydance:

Weird cravings have officially kicked in for me. I want to eat stuff that I normally think is absolutely *disgusting* (for example, fried fish & hotdogs. EW and EWWW!). I haven't caved to either nasty craving yet. The craving is so strong but when I really think about eating whatever I'm craving I have a gag reaction. :haha:

M/s kicked in a little last night but it's really really mild. Just a constant mild nausea unless I've just eaten and then I don't feel it. I also occasionally have uterine twinges/cramps that are very brief but pretty moderate. Overall, I feel really great though! I hardly feel typically pregnant at all. :winkwink: I should probably enjoy it while it lasts, eh?

Dh and I are soooo excited and soooo impatient! :haha:

I'm so excited for you!!! I haven't had any cravings yet and I'm kind of grateful for that. I would be the type to crave fried foods, chocolate etc. :haha:

I felt great up until 6 weeks. Hope you keep feeling good though!!

With my son, my epidural didn't work!!! I had pretty much no pain relief at all, until they decided to do the c-section. They did it up higher to numb me up for that, I basically couldn't feel anything below my chest.

And Little Spy, your m/s sounds like mine was, I remember I had a terrible aversion to chicken though - any kind of meat, really. But I just kept eating, because when my tummy was empty, I'd get sick. I actually gained almost all of my weight in the first trimester, and then leveled out after that. :-( If I'm blessed with a "next time" I'm going to choose feeling nauseated over the weight gain. (Yeah, like I have that much control once hormones kick in, lol!)

9 dpo is still early firerabbit, but you know that! Best wishes and I hope it turns BFP soon!

As for me...still feeling undecided and scared about what I'm going to do. I know that I'm horrible at NTNP...I obsess even more! So, maybe just use opks this month? I do like to know my dpo, as my cycles suddenly aren't as regular as they used to be. A few cycles back, the one when I actually didn't by any tests and start testing until the day AF was due, I had a 40 day cycle! The longest I'd ever had! So I basically still went through a ton of tests.

Grr....

CD 20, 6 or 7 dpo today.

Still no crazy symptoms, yay! :happydance:

Headache is still sticking around though, just faintly so I'm aware of it. Still getting lotiony CM and have been a bit gassy. Oh, the glamour of TTC...

Oh my gosh! I didn't know an epidural could NOT work. Thats a little scary!!

I didn't know it either! I just thought that the pain would go away, but it didn't. I didn't have any bad side effects from it as far as I know, but I had pretty much zero pain relief while in labor. Didn't help that my body was contracting and trying to push him out and I wasn't dilated past a 6.

It was bad enough that my husband said, "We aren't doing this again" because he couldn't stand to see me in so much pain. But then I was wheeled down for a c-section and they gave me a spinal block and felt nothing.

I'd totally do it again though, even with all of the pain. My situation was NOT normal! So don't be scared!!!

Hi ladies,

As I'm on a break from ttc I've been hanging around in wtt, but have been keeping up to date with you all.

Congrats LittleSpy on your bfp, you must be over the moon!

BigBetty - can't believe you are 30 weeks now, how exciting! I love reading your posts - you are very encouraging and inspiring :-)

Hope everyone else is doing well too.

AFM - I had a blood test last week to check that I ovulate for when we ttc again, so waiting for the results now - fingers crossed!!!

Hey girlies! Just got back from grocery store. I just spent $500 on all of the things I need to start my LowCarb diet to try to get some of this weight off while TTC. I am super excited!! I am hoping that now that I have my Mirena out that I will be able to lose easier! Plus eating LC is really the only way for me to eat healthy as I have diabetes. I am hoping that if I can get some of this weight off that I can stop taking my insulin injections! That would be awesome!!!! Wish me luck!! I put up a ticker so you all can see how I am doing. I weighed 290lbs this morning!!!!!!!!!!!! EEEEKKKK!!!

Hi,

Can I join you ladies :)

Married, 32years, 2 sons and currently pregnant. Got pregnant on the 1st month of trying..! :winkwink: but I really didnt expect it..With my previous pregnancies I was only 10pounds above my normal weight. But this time I am almost 30lbs OVERWEIGHT  I feel really miserable. Had lost about 15lbs but regained after going to my native country !!:dohh:

Anyway, I am 6weeks or so pregnant. Still my MW has not given me an app.
I am pretty much sure she is gonna make me go on a diet  But I hope not !!:growlmad:

Hoping to hang around with you all... GL !

Hey ladies hope you dont mind me posting! I am approaching 21, Engaged and 17 weeks pregnant with baby #1! EDD 19/04/11.

I was TTC for 2 years before it happened  I have PCOS and an underactive thyroid (diagnosed at 16) so i am overweight and find it REALLY hard to loose it. I weighed 19 stone (266 lbs) in 2008 but am now currently down to 13 and a half (189 lbs). I am not proud of the way i lost my weight but honestly, it was the best thing that happened to me.

I was trying to work out my cycle to see when i ovulated for about 5 months as i would sometimes get a period twice a month and would never know when i was ovulating. The doctor said to carry on for another 6 months before considering me for fertility treatment, And the month i forgot to write on the calander i conceived!

All i can say to you ladies really is dont ever get yourself down about not falling pregnant. I believe that things happen for a reason and it will happen when the time is right
Try not to overthink things (as i did) as it puts stress onto you. If your forever thinking 'I better be this time' it can seem like a VERY long journey. Just try to relax and let nature take its course
I wish all of you TTC all the best and hope you get what you wish for soon

hey ladies good news!!!! i got my clomid today and cant wait for my next cycle to start so i can get going with it
