Hey everyone, haven't posted in a while...I've been sick with some nasty cough and actually missed 4 days of work this week. :-( Not a lot going on...on CD 11 and I probably won't O for another week or so.

Anyway, I made a decision. I'm not going to stop TTC!!! I'm going to be 100% dedicated now!! But, I'm also going to go 100% with weight loss and getting in shape!

Part of me used to always be afraid to lose weight, and then "ruin all that hard work" mostly because I felt like that happened with my first pregnancy. Anyway, last time I was pregnant (when I miscarried) I was actually doing my practicum at the weight loss clinic working for a dietitian, and she told me that my menu plan wouldn't be any different for pregnancy than it was for losing weight in her office. My obgyn also approved me losing a bit of weight during pregnancy if that is what happened naturally through healthy eating, and I've received the green light to workout during my pregnancies as well...so...coming to terms with the fact that I'm not going to just stop what I'm doing to get fit if I'm blessed enough to get a BFP has been a tremendous motivator for me.

My BMI is 41.0 right now, and so I've got a lot of weight to lose, but I think I'm so totally ready for this! Excited!

Oh sweetie! I am so happy that you have decided to continue ttc!! Im wishing you LOTS of luck on the weight loss, I am thrilled that I am finally able to drop some lbs!! All I have been doing was counting calories and I have already dropped 4lbs and a bunch of inches!! GOOD LUCK!! And we got your back sweetie!!

Thank you! That's awesome that you're already down 4 lbs! I did manage to spend 30 minutes (walking) on my treadmill tonight...which is good enough for today because I've been sick and still feel pretty yucky.

I am usually so horrible at calorie counting. Hope it works for me! I have pretty extensive weight loss "knowledge" but not really motivation.

bunni well done! thats a brilliant loss

andella i know what you mean about 'knowledge' we've all been there before, we know whats good for us and what isn't but it's the willpower to battle through it that I find difficult.

once i get a bee in my bonnet about weightloss i'm fine i'm really motivated, it' just getting to that point that i'm struggling with these days lol.

well my diet starts today so fingers crossed, will update by diet ticker later

Oooh Fx for you bunni!!

I scheduled my first OB appointment today! :happydance: January 3rd which is awesome because I already have that day off work. The receptionist had a little fuss over me not wanting to come in until I'm 12 weeks along but she booked it anyway and said a nurse would call me if they have a problem with it. I kind of have a feeling I will get a call because she told me several times they normally book the first appointment for 7-9 weeks which means I should be seen early in December. Lame! If they are adamant about scheduling me sooner I guess I'll comply but I'll be super irritated about it and I really hate to start my relationship with my OB office off on the wrong foot.

On that note, I started feeling like a zombie last night. It's a queasy/dizzy/fatigued/foggy kind of feeling. Not so much fun. I'm not sure if I'm catching a bug or if my m/s is properly starting to kick in or if I overdid it at the gym this weekend or what. I guess I'll find out.

I don't know how things work over there, but in the UK we have what we call our "booking appointment" with our midwife between 6 and 10wks so they can get all of our details down and check everything, then we get an appointment through for our first scan at the hospital at 12wks - which is the dating scan - and is why we need the booking app earlier if you see what I mean, so they can get all the paperwork sorted.

hey ladies, i was going to ask if any of you have soore boobs through O and after for awhile....my boobs were hurting really bad when i thought i was O-ing and they still hurt 4 days later so i wonder if this means i did O or im about to start

Hey, sorry I have been away for a few. The witch reared her ugly head for the first time since having my Mirena taken out and DEAR LORD!! I think I bled enough for all 5yrs of not having AF! Lol! But I have kicked her to the curb and feel human again! BDed last night and will continue daily until the end of my cycle! Wish me luck!

Andella- glad to hear you are so positive about continuing TTC and weight loss. You can do it!!!

Bunni- This might be TMI but does your urine have a strong smell too? Your chart looks good though. Lots of :dust: for you!!! You're not testing until Friday, right?

Hey ladies!!! Sorry I have not been around for awhile..I had a lot of reading to do too because of it, lol Welcome to the new members and glad to hear everyone else is hanging in there. I loved your scan mustang, too cute and gave me hope. Sorry that you started af Brandi but :dust: for this month. Bunni keep your head up and everything will work it's self up, that temp rise looks great spotting or not :) My mom had a regular period for the first couple months being pregnant with me..

AFM we went to Orlando this weekend to Epcot... God is good and answered one of my two main prayers.(I deleted this because I have nosey people in my life) lol I cant wait for the other (:bfp:) to follow! I didnt take temps the last 2 days as we went to Orlando with my cousins and I didnt want them to ask a hundred questions... I never got a positive OPK which worries me so we are just playing it by ear until we get the :bfp: or af shows...

Hope I didnt miss anyone stuff but I am glad that we are such a strong group of ladies for eachother ;) i have such a great support system with my fiancee but I love being able to come here. I wish I had more of you on my FB cause I get on their a little more than here only to keep my reading and research and stress of TTC to a minimum :haha: last month i drove myself CRAZY!!!
