Welcome along mumanddad :hi: Its great to have you here!

Starlit - how exciting, twins?!!! That is exciting, can't wait to hear how you get on at the Drs :haha:

AFM - we told DHs family yesterday, and guess what?? My SIL is pregnant too!!!!!! She is 7 weeks along, so we are so close! The champagne definately came out (don't worry, I only had a sip!!) :happydance:

So I am pregnant with my best friend and my SIL, if I could have chosen any two people to have babies with it would be them - I'm so excited. It makes me even more sure that this little bean is meant to be :cloud9:

Maybe!!
My appointment has been changed now *phew* Saturday the 19th, at 9:30am. If dH has a robotics competition that weekend like I think he does, it'll be my MIL taking me but that's fine!

Hello Everyone!

So, the last night of vacation, I think I experienced morning sickness. With my two previous pregnancies, I never really threw up, I just was queasy. Last night, around 10pm, the queasiness returned. I went back to the hotel room and couldn't stop puking. I have honestly never thrown up that much in my life. There was nothing left in me and I got so dehydrated and kept dry heaving. I had to call in sick today to work because I feel like complete crap. My hips ache, my head aches, my muscles and joints and bones ache.

I have mixed feelings, because that severe of MS this early would be a good sign, but I don't want to go through it again.

Had my first appt today! Went amazing!! There was not a single mention of my weight?!?! We talked a lot about my diabetes, I had a PAP(fun stuff), and I am scheduled to come back next Monday. I have to do labs tomorrow morning(more fun stuff, lol) . My due date is October 10th, but he has scheduled my C-Section for the 3rd!!! Yeah!! I am so excited! I will find out next monday when my first scan is.

Oh, and I will be going tomorrow to look for diet caffeine free soda! Lol!

:hi: Welcome to the group! I'll echo what the other ladies have said......weight doesn't always have to be the issue!! Some doctors frustrate me so much :growlmad:

Welcome back Andie :hi: Loving those lines on your test - definately no disputing that one  Is your DH thrilled?!

Brandy - glad your appointment went well hun. How exciting that you have your C-section date! Have you elected for a C-section or do you need one for medical reasons. Here in the UK we cannot choose a C-section, we are only given one if it is for a medical emergency.

Welcome back Butterfly :flower:

AFM - keep waking up SO early!! Normally I can't get out of bed in the morning and always snooze my alarm, but been waking at 6.30 every morning feeling so hungry - I just HAVE to eat. Not complaining though :winkwink:

<snip>

Oh, and I will be going tomorrow to look for diet caffeine free soda! Lol!

Diet Rite makes caffeine free Cola and Orange soda sweetened with Splenda. I want to say they also make a diet caffeine free grape soda but I've never bought it so I'm not positive. There's also diet caffeine free Coca-Cola, diet caffeine free Mountain Dew, diet Sprite/7-up/Sierra Mist, and several others I'm sure.

Andie -- kind of sounds like you just may be sick in a non-pregnancy related way. :nope: Either way, hope you feel better soon!

Lara -- funny with the waking up early. That was one of my very first symptoms. It's not as bad (or good, depending on how I look at it :haha:) now that I'm sleeping like shit, but I still get up hours earlier than I used to on the weekends.

Welcome back! You're doctors sound useless! Mine aren't great in general but I've found 1 gem in the practice who's really great. Had an US last Friday cos they're pretty sure I have PCOS, my bloods show slightly elevated Testosterone and I'm currently on CD134:cry: She has put me on Provera to bring on the :witch: and when she gets the US results is willing to look at metformin or Clomid to help me conceive. Her only stipulation was that I join WW and actively try to lose weight.

Have you tried registering at another surgery?

:

Medical reasons. Because of my diabetes and because I have had two previous c-sections, they just automatically schedule me for one.

yeah my gp doesn't think much of my gyno either! lol

going for aanother blood test my my oh's sa results but after that if he refuses to help me she's agreed to try and find me a different gyno - which will mean more waiting  but hey might find someone better out of it

Sorry to jump in and be all about me...but I had the slightest ever pinkish-brownish spotting tonight at work. I rushed home after work and tested again and the line is barely there!

I don't know anything for sure of course....but I'm so terrified and broken that I almost don't feel anything other than numb.

I almost don't want to have hope because I'm afraid of getting it up and it crashing back down.

I really, really hope I'm reading too much into things. Please say a prayer for us!

Oh Andie :hugs: Praying for you. Try not to worry too much, spotting is common in early pregnancy as long as it doesn't develop into bleeding. The test may have been faint because you tested later in the day, and probably hadn't been holding your pee. Thinking of you though hunni :hugs:

Butterfly - hope you get some answers soon hun. And Wannabe - sounds like your GP is really supportive which is great

Brandy - lucky you having a C-section :) I'm starting to feel a bit scared about labour, think I might try and find a Pregnancy Yoga group - it is supposed to help with flexibility, muscle tone and breathing - all helpful for labour!!!

AFM - got my first midwives appointment but it's not until 10 weeks, which just feels like ages away!! I'm so impatient :dohh:

It's normal to get that around now hun, it's implantation bleeding as the egg buries itself in your cervix. I had it around 5 weeks too. If you are worried go and speak to your doctor but please don't panic and stress yourself out hun - although I know that's easier to say than do because I panicked at first too - but stress isn't good :hugs:
