4DPO -- Too early for Implantation??

Hello Ladies!! I hope everyone is doing well!

First, I apologize if this has already been discussed. I told myself I would NOT symptom spot this cycle , and yet here I am! First, I want to say have a pretty regular cycle, of about 27-29 days. I am currently 5/6 DPO today and CD 18.

I spotted a very light brown yesterday from the time I woke up (7:00am) to about lunch time. I wiped at lunch yesterday and it was there, but that was the last time I saw the spotting. It was very light and a very weird light brown. I had not had intercourse in two days prior to the spotting, so it wouldn't have been from that. I did have intercourse last night and expected that to cause more spotting to come down but there was nothing. The only time I ever spotted this early was a few months after I stopped birth control, and it continued every day until AF came. This was 5 months ago and was the only time this happened (I am now on 8 months of TTC) and my cycles have been pretty regular since.

Quickly, I will say I tracked ovulation by using OPK. I got a positive on Friday and Saturday, along with egcm. My cm then dried up and my BBT rose on Sunday and then spiked on Monday.

I have also been doing google searches on possible IB this early, and some say "It's too early!, and then some say "I had this!" So, I do not know what to think. I am NOT asking if I am pregnant, no one can tell me that, what I am hoping for is some hope, or that it's possible. I can google all day, but it's best to hear from those that have been through it or are going through it. I know it can be frustrated reading some of these posts and thinking "IT'S TOO EARLY, why would you ask that!", I think the same thing, and then it happens to me. I feel like I go through this every month So call me crazy if I am, haha, but is IB possible at this point or could it just be old blood coming out from AF? I know the average of IB, but again that is an average of course. Obviously, I will not know if it is for sure implantation until after a possible BFP, but I am trying to stay hopeful and need some buddies!

It's supposed to take a few days for the fertilized eggy to make its way down the Fallopian tubes and try to implant. 4DPO seems way too early for that trip + the work of implanting but who knows? Fingers crossed you will have your BFP in a week or two!

It's extremely unlikely to happen before 6dpo. It takes x amount of time for the cell division to occur and the actual trip from the ovary to the uterus. I never say impossible but Yes, very very unlikely. (I'd say less than 1% chance. )

Thanks ladies! Probably just some random spotting. I know some have had it, but I am sure it is very unlikely. As normal IB only occurs in 20% of women.

Since you said you tracked Ovulation by OPK could it be you are off a few days on Ovulation? because some women have had ovulation spotting (I never had it then had it the cycle of my bfp) and since its brown it could be old blood from ovulation. Just a thought

I don't THINK I am off, but you can never be too sure. But I had lots of egcm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and then a huge spike in BBT on Monday, which has stayed risen since then. So I am around 95% sure I ovulated on Saturday evening or Sunday morning. I do sometimes have a streak of pink around the time I am ovulating, which I did this time on Friday or Saturday one, I can't remember. So maybe it is just old blood from ovulating on Saturday. IFFFF (that's a big if) I get a BFP, I will update everyone for future readers! Thanks!
And who knows, if I get a BFP, this spotting could be completely unrelated.
