5.3mm NT Measurement & CVS

Hello, I found this site today after searching online about NT scans... Today has been quite the day.

I went in for the sequential screen ultrasound this morning and ended up with CVS. I am 11 weeks 5 days and the measurement was 5.3mm. This is my third pregnancy, so I knew what I was looking at wasn't right. Now I wait to find out if the early CVS results are clean. I've looked over the profile shots and I think I see a nasal bone. I'm 38, so we can't help but be concerned about chromosomal issues. Any experience with this type of result?

Hi knitbit, I spent the day looking at nasal bones on scan pics too - cvs next week... when are your results? Hope all is well and that you and your baby are Ok.

Sorry you have to have CVS next week. I hope you get great results.

Got the early results back and so far no trisomy 21, 18, 13, or XY problems. I should get the full results next week. It's a long wait.

Hey, I went to my close friends NT scan and her baby had a measurment of 9.3mm!! She opted for the CVS and it was uncomplicated and everything went ok. She got her trisomy 21, 18, 13 and sex chromesomes results and they were all clear! She got the rest of her results today and they were all clear too! I hope your results are all ok
