5 days late and one positive and now neg test

I am 5 days late and so confused. I did a test on Sat and after about an hour it showed an "x" I thought I would wait and try again the next morning and it showed negative. Not sure what I should do at this point. Still no period.

Hi Jenn, that must be very confusing, hope things work out with a proper positive in the next few days

I would be cautious of any bfp that happens after the given time that the test should be read within, i have been caught out by evaps but only on IC's, never had an evap on a frer for eg

If it was a bfp, and there is a low hcg thats currently building, your negative could have been dilute wee, so you certainly arent out unless af arrives.

when will you test again, and what tests were you using?
