Hi :)
My names Danielle, Im 20 years and pregnant with my second.
Was trying for my daughter whos 2 next month & got pregnant the first month of trying...trying for this one for 2 months. I must be super fertile!

Hi ladies! Tried for #1 for 2 years exactly and with just about every assistance possible, then a natural bfp. Tried for #2 for 1 month and he/she is on his/her way!

Hi I do believe I am 5 weeks exactly today with baby number 2. Got pregnant with my daughter after 8 months of trying and this one was after the first month. I am 29 will be pregnant for my big 3-0 this year. I guess that means since I cant celebrate that it never happened and I will be 29 another year longer lol

Hey No doubt when you got your BFP with your first had you given up all hope? I noticed with my 2 previous pregnancies I finally got both BFP just as I had given up. And this one I wasn't stressed about getting pregnant I figured it would happen whenever and sure enough bam first try. I seriously thing that is connected some how. Anyway congrats on your pregnancies!!

Hi ladies! Ah, I feel old...I'm 32. I'm just over 5 weeks now, and pregnant with my first. We are living overseas right now, so it's adding a whole new element of craziness to being pregnant. Nice to meet you all!!

NMY...I hadn't given up all hope but we were on a serious break from actively trying. The meds got to be too painful and my heart was too shattered. With this one we weren't even really trying. I'd told hubby I wanted to remove the goalee the month before and if he wasn't ready to figure it out. He wasn't ready yet, but also didn't figure it out and here we are, lol. He didn't think I would fall so fast he said considering it took us so long with #1. There's logic for ya...lol.

I'll be preggo over my b'day too, and my anniversary of I make it all the way. I was pregnant over b'day and all the holidays with #1 as well. I'm sure my celebration will consist of food and sleep, lol.

Congrats on all of our pregnancies! I'm so excited and excited to have ladies to share the journey with.

I'm Bianca and I'm 31. So don't feel old RandaPanda. :) I'm 5 weeks today. I have a 9 month old daughter and after 2 months of TTC here I am with #2. I told OH to wait to tell our family we can surprise them on Mother's Day. BUT I've already told my mom because I can't keep a secret.

Hi Bianca! Congrats and welcome. Yeah the secret is hard. I have X amount of people I've told so I have some folks to share with and be excited with me, but everyone else will just have to wait until this little peanut can't hide anymore.

hahaha we are quite a like! My plan was to do something for mothers day as well but instead I called everybody and told them. I also cannot keep my own secrets. You should see me at Christmas it's so bad! lol

I'm waiting to tell friends and family back home...they won't know until we arrive back in July and I get off the plane nearly 19 weeks pregnant! But it's killing me to keep the secret, so not sure I can hold out that long :) my DH did tell his best friend, and he was so happy for us...it was really cute, and it was nice to share the news with at least one person. We'll probably tell our coworkers over here in China after my 8 week scan because I already seem to be getting a little belly...lol, not sure how I feel about that already starting at 5 weeks!!

Hi all, well I'm even older at 36, so you're all youngsters! Lol. I'm just over 5 weeks with #2. My LO is 3 and it took 18 months and one round of clomid to get her. This time no meds and only 2 months!

I'm pretty nervous and wish the weeks would hurry by. I remember getting some cramping last time in first tri but seem to have more this time which is freaking me out! I had a c section with #1 so dont know whether there's more cramping tis time due to scar tissue.

Good luck to us all.

I'm terrible about gifts...I always ask hubbs if he wants to know what I got him. He's so good though, cause he always says no and has no problem keeping secrets.

Randa I think it's normal for some. With my first I gained 7lbs in first tri. You're only suppose to gain about 1-4.5. Apparently my body didn't get the memo. But I only gained about 25 overall so it all balances out. I've already put on a few...mostly from bloating and the constipation that happens. The ladies at my son's daycare told me I was showing on Thursday. I just said "Thanks" sarcastically and thought to myself...give me my child so I can leave, lol. It happens to everyone, so you're totally in the norm here hun.

We tell people that don't matter...people we'll never see again or people that don't know anyone else we know. Well gosh, not that they don't matter, but you get what I'm saying...

Welcome blu and congrats! Ian experiencing the exact same thing and I too had a section with #1. I was told by other ladies on other threads that's its normal with a section first. I also remember the docs saying that a section tends to slow hour bowels and I've experienced cramping with a lot of the bloating cause things are moving through a little slowly if you know what I mean. But I don't think you have anything to worry about. Maybe pay closer attention and see if you get more cramping along with bloating or your bowels moving through...

Welcome Ladies!

So great to have people to go through all of this with!
So when is everyone's EDD?

Hi Bluebell!

No Doubt, I totally hear ya about the bloat. My gosh, I can't even believe it! I'm going to have a hard time sucking it in soon, and I'm always subtly undoing my pants at my desk when my students are out at recess, etc. Lol!

Just based off of my own calcs 12/3. Are you gonna add them to the front page? That would be fun, along with gender! I'm team yellow all the way! We found out with ds kinda by accident. Hubbs was supposed to find out for his b'day so when the tech told me to close my eyes she looked at his man bits and typed it out for him. Obviously boy has 3 letters, girl has 4 so it was pretty easy to figure it out, lol. I told hubbs to confirm and he wouldn't, so I stood in the cold with the car door open refusing to close it until he did, lol. See, I'm terrible with secrets that pertain to me, lol. So this time neither of us will be finding out.

Have you ladies had your first appointment already? Since this is my first LO, I wasn't sure what to expect about the timing of appointments, but the doctor I'm going to start seeing said to just come in for my first appointment at 7-8 weeks...the days are just creeping by!!

Actually, I had a hard time finding decent care where I am, so I'm really hoping I have no complications while I'm overseas! I can't wait to be back home in a few months with a support system and medical staff with whom I can talk to in English (until, then, BnB has been very comforting!) DH and I are really excited and this baby was planned, but we didn't think I would fall PG on my second cycle because of my shortish LP...so I'm spending more time pregnant in China than anticipated! :)

Randa get the belly band. Held me together until about 14 weeks when I finally broke down and bought maternity clothes, lol. But it helps in keeping your pants up while unbuttoned. I would even let it double as like a second layered t-shirt.

My EDD is Dec 5th! I know a lot of people like to avoid December due dates because of the holidays, but I'm actually thrilled about it!!

My first appt is this Thurs which is a bit early. Usually mu office doesn't do it til 8-10 weeks but I don't think she thought about that when scheduling. The first appt, especially with your first is a lot of do's and don'ts, questions about your health and family health, pamphlets and what not. Informational really. Ours was about 2-2.5 hours. So I'm hoping it won't be that long with this being #2.

Anyone have or plan on getting a Doppler? I have one and loved it with my first! Such peace of mind!
