50mg no ovulation??

Hey girls. Well I was on 50mg of clomid last cycle and didn't ovulate and the Dr has said to do 50mg again this month, not upped it at all.

Has anyone not ovulated first time on 50mg and tried again and ovulated?

I am going to make sure I eat as healthy as I can and will try the metformin again (made me really ill before and was on it for 6 months and gave up as was just too much). Xx

I didn't ovulate on 50mg and it about broke my heart. My doctor upped mine to 100mg. Hopefully you ovulate this time or get your doctor to up it to a higher dosage.

I ovulated on 50mg my first Clomid cycle, but didn't the second. The second cycle I had no follicles after 50, so they immediately put me on 100mg for 5 days (in the same cycle) and then I ovulated. The 3rd cycle, they tried 100mg and when I had no follicles at scan, they immediately put me on 150mg for another 5 days, and again I ovulated. At that point they decided to combo it with Femara for my 4th cycle and that worked at 100mg Clomid plus lowest dose of Femara.
