5w+3 and already caught whatever bug is going around

As the title says I'm 5w+3 and this is my first pregnancy. I'm loving it so far except I work with kids and it seems I may be getting a cold now. I've seen kids sneezing/ blowing their noses. I was OK yesterday then BAM it hits me today. So much more tired. Stuffy nose. is it normal to catch a cold so easily?

Oh yes. Your immune system is lowered whilst pregnant. I have a cold too, I feel like death.

I caught 2 horrible colds in quick succession from my toddler in the first trimester when I normally don't catch anything he has. And they were the worst colds I've had in a long time

I got a cold in the first trimester too. It was no fun at all.

Thanks! I'm just not used to getting these simple colds that knock me off my feet. My immune system used to be so strong lol.
