Hi all help would be very much appreciated im about 2 weeks late on my period i took my pill for 1 week then me and my fiance decided ttcso i stopped it......so about 3 weeks since stopping and then took a first reponse about a week and a half ago positive then a poundland one negative lol then a tesco one and negative then about 2 more tesco ones and negative and 5 more first response and positive faint but very clear i did a tesco and first response one with my doctors sample and the first response was positive and the tesco one i thought was pos but was very unclear so i threw it on my side in a mood then about half an hour later looked and it was a faint positive (with a pink line) the doctors test came back negative so confused hes ordered me a scan but not until a month tomorrow.....oh please could somebody help me i dont want 2 get excited as i am ttc and not be it will b heartbreaking thanku in advance xx

oh sorry 2 weeks late.. well the tests should be right. and maybe the others are just not picking it up. you could ask for a blood test. or an ultra sound. at least he scheduled a scan.. i know its a long wait though

I would say go for the ultrasound. It is pretty rare, but sometimes tests don't pick up hcg for whatever reason. An ultrasound will tell for sure. I'm really sorry that you have to wait for one month to get your ultrasound. Are you feeling any symptoms like fatigue, hunger, cramping, etc??

well sometimes depending on the hcg levels the doc test may not be sensitive enough for example first response will give you a positive if you got over 25 hcg in your urine, doc test may not give a positive unless you got over 1000 hcg in your urine. that's been my expereince, but a blood test will definetly give you a very accurate answer

hi ladies yes my ultrasound is 21st nxt month which is ages away n i fink i will b bold by the time i have it lol.......im fatigue very much but i do have a young child lol i have nausea but not bein sick with my son i had horrendous mornin sicknes....i wee a tad more my belly is extremely hard except wen i lay down its not (confused) but i do look pregnant my partner says its perfectly rnd but i n o i cant show yet so mayb im just gettin fatter lol i hate not knowing thats the worst part wut do u ladies fink cud they b false positives xx

Doctors urine tests aren't near as sensitive as the one you can buy. Ask for a blood test. You wouldn't be showing this early, if you are pregnant it's just pregnancy bloat :flower:

Try and wait a couple of days and test again with FMU and whatever you do, whether the test is positive or negative, don't look at it after 10 mins because it could be an evap line. There's a good reason the instructions tell you not to look after 10 mins. Fingers crossed you get a lovely dark line the next time you test x

hi all they defo werent evap lines as they cam up well wivin 2 minutes......but just 2 let u all no bleedin and crampin now although the bleedin isnt heavy but i have had 2 miscarriages b4 my son so i no it probably isnt gd but my fiance is so optimistic as his mum bkled in all her pregnancies but its just not sumfin i have experienced so guess its bk 2 tryin agen :-( x
