6 dpo & don't 'feel pregnant'

Although i have had cramps past few days i dont really 'feel pregnant' I have never actually been preg So that doesn;t help! Last month i spotted around O and after but this month there has been no spotting. I'm now worrying FF is wrong and i didn;t ovulate.

I have been ok with the wait but now at 6 DPO - I only have 5 days til AF is due - and i am restless with the wait. Want to test but know it is pointless and i'll prob be disappointed so am going to try my hardest to wait til sat when AF is due and if no AF test then.

Who else is testing around 5th?

I'm testing on the 5th as well but it has been all I can do not to do one today!!! I know that there is no point and it'll just be a waste but I just wanna know NOW!! Patience isn't one of my strong qualities, lol.

Hi Ladies,

Don't get down if you don't "feel" pregnant at 6 dpo. That's really early and they little beanie probably hasn't even implanted yet. I know, it's sooooo hard living in 2ww's - wait to O, wait to POAS, wait for AF, wait, wait, wait.

Remember that every cycle is different too. Just because you had a bit of spotting last month, doesn't mean you'll have it this month too.

Hang in there ladies. I'll be in the 2ww in just a few short days.

you never no hun u cud be, most people dont feel nothing this early anyway. most i would say around 6 - 8 weeks or so u may start feeling stuff, even longer lol.
i really hope when u do a test u r pregnant all of u.
im due about next week or so, im still learning about my cycle how long it is etc, ive only just started understanding it, today would of been 21 day cycle , cos i came on last on the 9th of aug, think thats right isnt it? so mabey if im a 28 day cycle i will come on next sunday, if im getting the whole cycle thing right or could have a longer cycle.
do you work ur cycle from the day u start ur peroid , to the next month u start it? or am i wrong.

I also think I am 6 dpo. Hope I wasn't off with my ovulation date. It crossed my mind to go pick up a HPT today but I resisted the urge. I accidently found one in my closet 2 days ago that was left over from my last cycle and of course--it was negative. I can't resist if they are in the house. But, if not, I am too lazy to leave the house just for that so I think I will be ok to wait at least 4 more days. Then, the curiosity will just get the best of me! Good luck to you! and if it makes you feel better, I don't feel pregnant either. But I hope we both are!

I agree with livbaybee1 - having been pregnant twice, I never felt anything at 6 DPO. As a matter of fact with my daughter we were NTNP, and so never fretted about symptoms...and even with my son, we TRIED, and I never felt anything at 6 DPO either, so I was shocked to get a BFP...after no early signs...so don't give up and don't get down about the lack of symptoms so early!! there's still a chance unti AF arrives!

Yes, CD1 starts on the first day of your flow. And if you spot a day or so before, that is NOT CD 1. It has to be from a "real" flow. Then you count until AF shows up again...which would again, be CD1. Hope this helps.

yeah u hear about people not even knowing there preg till labour LOL , not many people but can happen , so as u say ur not feeling nothing yet , thats the same as most people, my friend is pregnant (grrrr) she did a test around 7 weeks , well she did a test and was pos and then she found out she was 7 weeks, so she didnt really no until then and that was only because she didnt come on.
ive been having cramping too off and on, mainly just after i was ovulating, which i normally only get cramps a week or a few days before im due :S but prob nothing knowing my luck. ive been getting kind of shooting/dull ache pains everyday mainly nights for about a week, but prob nothing. like i said im due about next week or so, dreading it , cos i no i will come on

Hi hun, Yes the day you start your period is cycle day 1. So a complete cycle is start date of your period (actual blood - enough for tampon/pad apparently) until day before your next period. Hope that makes sense.

Oh fingers crossed the lot of us are pregnant. The whole bloody TTC section! Could you imagine, all of us swarming 1st tri!!!!

I cracked today when I was in WalMart and picked up a two pack of FRER. I only have a 9-10 day LP so I'm due to test Saturday anyways (that is when FF figures my AF is expected to arrive). I'll probably wait until the morning (then I'll be 7DPO) and then I won't be able to stand it anymore, lol. Probably get a negative, but can still hope for no AF!!

I'm 8dpo but I'm holding out - due to test on Sunday and do you know what.... I'm not even gonna test until Monday.... gonna pop into town on my lunch hour (if the witch ain't arrived!!!) and get me a test.... How good am I!!! FX'd for all of us. I have symptoms but they are the same as AF on its way too.... so who knows - the only thing I have is a slight pulling on my stomach but I have been doing a ton of ironing - so may have overdone it... I pray its implantation pain!! Its on the left?? Anyone felt this before?

what u mean by pulling feeling ? what else does it feel like? hope u r pregnant hun, hopfully it works out for u (y) ,ive been having a kind of pain , well shooting pains everyday, mainly in the nights, i had it about 10 mins ago off n on, like dull ache kinda pains for about a week now, dno what all thats about, people said gas but dno why that would last a week :S but prob nothing knowing my luck

zipster: Yay for self restraint!! Good for you!! I am normally pretty good with it (only taken 1 test in 2 cycles - this is my 3rd cycle now) but I think I feel pretty good about this one.......cautiously optimistic!! I guess I'll know if AF doesn't come on Saturday (as I am anticipating getting negatives on any tests I break down and do before then, lol).

I guess the pains are just those kind of pulling pains/cramps you get when you are due AF.... but I don't normally get them this early, unless of course, AF is coming early? Who knows.... I go on holiday in the next couple of weeks and really want to enjoy my holiday knowing I'm BFP!!! The only other thing is, if I'm not, I will be Ovulating whilst I am on holiday so lots of BD'ing in a caravan in Dorset - wooo hoooo......

HAHAHA! That's too funny cuz the sides of my boobs are sore (which is a first) and I was just thinking that same thing a couple minutes ago. I said to myself, "maybe they are sore cuz you keep poking them, dumbass!" LMAO
