what should a 6 month old baby be doing in terms of crawling/sitting up etc??

They could be crawling/sitting, but it isn't a must..

Grace only crawls backwards and she still can't sit up by herself and she's 7 months on monday. Babies do different things at different ages so I wouldn't worry if there are some things your LO can't do yet because there are probably things they can do that other babies their age can't

my TJ isn't sitting up on her own yet! she is eating more than just the 1 meal of solids a day now! i wouldn't worry yourself, all babies are different and go at different paces, might be fast at crawling/walking but slow at talking etc x x x x just enjoy your baby! PARTYYYY!

chloe cant sit up on her own- she rolls across the floor back to front and front to back, spins round on her back and shuffles on her tummy

my lo cant sit up yet & cant crawl.. she can flip over onto her stomach tho!

Theo can sit up by himself but not very close to crawling! He lies on his tummy waving his legs in the air!

maddi can sit with help, but not really interested in crawling! they just go at their own pace honey x
