6 week scan today

Hi all

Went for my scan today thought I was exactly 6 weeks but on scan was measuring 5wk 4days pregnancy sac and baby seen but no heartbeat they said this was normal and to return in 1 week for another scan


Anybody else had this?

Also been started on heparin injections twice a day x

I would not worry about it too much. A similar thing happened to me. With my first pregnancy I went in at exactly 6 weeks and saw a baby and a heartbeat. (Later the baby miscarried) This time I went in at 5 days 6 weeks and I couldn't even identify a baby on the monitor! No heartbeat, the Dr. said he saw a fetal pole but it was impossible to see for a normal person. I was quite terrified. However, a week later there was my little one with a strong heartbeat.

sandra im sure all will be well, ur still really early, i had a scan today too , was meant to be 6 weeks and 5 days, sack measured 6 and 1, only a yolk visible.....eeeek!!
etoiles do u mean 6w 5d, or 5w 6d....im freaking out!!
im reading that alot of womens pregnancies progress at different rates so we shouldnt worry x
