i've just gone through my 6th miscarriage and I am now at the end of the road.
They all happen at 5+ weeks with no pain physically. The doctors keep saying its bad luck because i have had a successful pregnancy before all of these. I can't believe it is bad luck.
Has anyone got any ideas? please help me :

Oh honey i am so so sorry for ALL your losses, i can only imagine your hurt 6 times over, i lost a baby in May...

Are you from the UK hun, i ask because after 3 m/c's you SHOULD be reffered to a spacialist honey, it could be something simple like your bloods to thick and causing the mc's and asprin helps that, but i would be going to the GP and demanding your right of an investigation, if your not from the UK i dont know if its the same, but i would imagine it is hun...

Please when your ready go to the GP, if you dont get on with your GP, then ask to see another one, its not on they have left you to go through this time and time again, for a unsympithetic GP to turn around and say "its bad luck" is bang out of order, its not bad luck, something is not right that your babies are not staying...

Please dont give up, there is help out there, and you have as much right to that help as any other women, i HATE the fact that because we have had a child before, to them that means probs wont happen in the future..

All my love Ash xxxxxxxxxx:hugs::hugs:

I'm so sorry. :hug: I hope you get things sorted out so you can have another successful pregnancy soon. In Ontario they will do testing after 2 miscarriages. Please look into finding someone who will help you. Six is way too many to not have anyone look into a medical reason.

So sorry that you are going through this. :hug:

First of all let me say hi and I am so sorry for your losses hun. I have lost 2 babies this year so I can go some way to knowing how you feel but can only imagine really.

You should be referred to a specialst by now hun and be having investigations!!

Please forgive my question but was your first child with the same father? I only ask because it can make a difference. Let us know how things go for you and I will be thinking of you xxx :hug:

So sorry for all your losses. Ash is right and after 3MCs in the UK you should be referred! xx

Oh hun :hugs: I am sorry for your losses. The ladies are right, you really should be referred to a specialist.

so sorry for your losses :hugs: xx

:hugs i am sorry i just had #7 and i know how hard it is.. if you need to talk i am here

Logie68-so sorry for all your loses, I had a child then 2 MC (first at 3 months, second at 7w) then another child and then a recent MC (7w5d), so I've had three but like you there were mixed in with my two healthy pregnancies so I've had some mixed results with answers from my Gyno doc. My MC have all been blighted ovums, sac there but no baby grows inside and I believe its from my genese and my husbands genes not being a good match. Do you know if there is a baby and then you lose the baby or perhaps yours are also blighted ovums???

I couldnt imagine going thru that! I'm so sorry. It seems like at this point they would recommend testing.

:hugs: :hugs: :hugs:

Hi, I'm new here, but definetely understand you, have been there 5 times myself. I'm so sorry {{{hugs}}}

I cant begin to imagine how you must be feeling. Ive had one mc and that was tough, you must be so strong. :hugs:

Even though you have had one successful pregnancy it doesn't mean there may not be a genetic or other problem...can you see a different Dr???

:hug:

I am sorry for your losses. I can't imagine what you've been through.

I belive in the UK, you should be investigated if you've had 3 mc's in a row (without successful pregnancy inbetween and not usually counting chemical pregnancies). So if you had a history like JJF then it's true you probably wouldn't fit the referral guidelines. However, if you've had one success out of 7 pregnancies, then you really should be referred to a specialist (if you wanted to be, of course it would be up to you).

I have heard of people who have been referred for 2 in a row, if they are over 35yrs old.

All the best and big hugs x

PS I don't know if anyone wants to be blinded by science, but I just found these guidelines online: https://www.earlypregnancy.org.uk/documents/AEPUGuidelines2007.pdf

Go to the clinical guidelines > recurrent miscarriage page and it has some interesting facts (for example if you are 35 and have had 5 miscarriages, there is still a 62% of a live birth) and some details about causes of recurrent problems and how to investigate them etc etc

:hug:

I hope I don't offend anyone with this post, but I just wanted to firstly say how sorry I am, I know how you feel, I've had 3 mc's.. but also, I was told after my second mc that they would investigate if I had another. When I did have another at 5 weeks, they told me that so many pregnancies end that early, that they didn't 'count it'. Not that it doesn't count as a pregnancy, because of course it does! But, what she meant (I think) that it IS just bad luck when it's that early. She told me that when the pregnancy ends so soon, it's usually because the egg was bad, or didn't attach right or something. My other two ended at 7 & 8 weeks, and that seems to be different?

Anyway, it still hurts just as bad :hugs: and I think they should investigate. I just think that may be why they haven't referred you. I'd think after 6 though, there HAS to be something wrong, so you should push for something to be done sweetie. :hugs:

Oh sweetheart, I am so very sorry for your losses. I m/c earlier in the year and only know the heartache one can bring.

I agree with the other ladies. You should be referred for some tests to see why this keeps happening to you.

Let us know how you get on darling xxx

Apologies for reading this so late, but have you been talked to about progesterone?
so sorry to hear of your losses xxxx
