Hi all, first time posting.

I'm 7w3d today, and I've all but convinced myself that I've had a MC. For the past two weeks, I've had pretty bad nausea/MS, and then yesterday, it all went away. Last night was the first night all month that I slept without waking up, even to pee.
Then this morning, I had some brown spotting.
All the bloat has disappeared as well. I can button up pants that I haven't been able to wear for about a month now.

I had a scan at 6w4d, saw the heartbeat. Called my doc today to see if I could go in for another scan, and waiting to hear back.

This is my first pregnancy, and I've been paranoid about MC from day 1! I wish I could turn all this worrying off, but I can't.

Brown spotting is very common especially between 6 and 8 weeks. As you have had ms that is a good sign, not a guarantee but a good sign. Also the fact you saw a hb is also a good sign. Mc can start with brown spotting but if it doesn't progress everything is probably ok. Try and relax, which I know is difficult but many women spot during pregnancy. I hope the doctor gets back to you soon. I have my fx for you.

When I was pg with my first, I got spotting around 6 weeks and I was absolutely terrified as well. I know how you're feeling. I went in for my first scan and everything was fine. It is not abnormal to experience some spotting during early pregnancy and sometimes several times throughout. It's common to have what they call a subchorionic hemmorhage, it's basically a pocket of blood along the side of the uterine wall which usually resolves itself and is not cause for concern. There are a few different types of these hemmorhages, depending on where it's located. You saw a hb on your first scan, which is excellent. These types of hemmorhages do not have a significant association with miscarriages and it is generally nothing to worry about - but telling that to a pregnant woman experiencing it isn't so easy! :) Try to relax, there isn't anything you can do regardless, and stressing yourself out about it isn't good for you or baby. Hopefully you will be able to get a scan to confirm very soon to put your mind at ease. Good luck and FX for you!

I had brown spotting with dd. I freaked out too and got an extra us. All was well and she is almost a year now! I know it is hard not to worry, but brown can be old blood or from your uterus wall stretching- that's what mine was from. Good luck to you, hope you are able to get an apt!

I know it's difficult not to worry, but brown spotting is quite common. With my DD I had spotting until the 3rd month of pregnancy, and she is now a healthy 6 year old. Try to distract yourself and don't look at the negative...it isn't good for you as well. Hopefully they can schedule a scan to set your mind at ease, but many women including myself have gone through it. Prayers and thoughts xoxoxo

Thankfully, my Dr was able to fit me in today for a scan. Baby is OK, saw heartbeat and measuring on schedule. But...there is also a subchorionic hematoma. It's about 1/3 the size of the gestational sac. She said I may have more bleeding if the hematoma passes. In the meantime, there's not much I can do (other than take it easy and not exert myself physically) - next u/s is in 2 weeks and I am praying for good news.

I had one of those with my last pregnancy as well, though I never bled from it. it was found at my 8 week scan and was gone by 12 weeks. Hopefully it absorbs for you and no more complications!

Yay! Glad to hear it and thanks for updating us! I was thinking and hoping that's all it was. I hope that puts your mind at ease, and I hope your doctor/the u/s tech put your mind at ease too. These are very common as I mentioned, some bleed, some don't, and it'll likely be gone by your next scan or two. :)

Here is the u/s image from yesterday, 7w3d. Green arrow is the bub, blue arrow is the hematoma. It looks really scary to me.
Nausea and MS have not really returned (have not had them for 2 days now, after having them non-stop for 3 weeks).

I have had same experience as yours, then went for another scan the baby was still alive and saw a stronger heart beat. so dont panic go for another scan. I have had 2 MC so I know how you feel this baby made me cry several occasions with odd spottings. I am 9 weeks now and nausea and everything is back
