I use the the platex reusable liners with the bottles they're made for. The problem I think is you can't push the air out of a regular bottle like the playtex ones cauae they have no bottom, they're just an open cylinder. That being said if u just wanted to use them so you dont have to wash so many bottles I'm not sure, they're really big compared to our other bottles. I would honestly just buy the bottles that go with cause I think they work great to reduce gas & the "bottle" doesnt have to be washed everytime, just the nipple part. HTH

you should be fine as long as it doesn't leak. You won't be able to press the air out, but it will still help with colic since they don't have to stop and let air back in the bottle as they suck. Should be fine even though you can't squeeze the air out.
Hmm.. wait.. now that I think about it it might not work since there will be a vacuum created inside the other bottle. If you want to try it.. give it a test run.
