8 1/2 Month old only Breast feeding morning and night

Hi My DD is 8 1/2 months old and is having 3 meals a day plus snacks. She now only Breastfeeds morning 6am and night 6.30pm. She has self weaned and doesnt 'ask' for any more but I am worried she isnt getting enough milk. How many time is your 8/9 month old feeding? Thanks

I read they should be breastfeeding at least 3/4 times.a day.
My lo bf probably 6, some of them are just to soothe him for naps (which hasnt really been working anymore ugh)

My lo did exactly this! By 9.5 months he'd stopped

My LO gets 4 oz in the morning, 2- 6 oz bottles during the day, an 8 oz before bed, and he wakes up at 3 am for another 6 oz. Now i'm beginning to wonder if he's getting too much....lol. He also gets 3 meals that he eats a lot of.

It really depends for us, sometimes she still wants lots of milk, sometimes just in the morning and at night...if she's not asking for any more I wouldn't worry, but make sure you always have a cup/bottle of water for her!

She does drink a lot of water and I make her porridge for breakfast with 3-4oz of milk. She eats a lot lol!!

My 8 month and 1 week old has just recently dropped to only 3 feeds a day. First one of the day around 6-7am, then around 11am and then bedtime around 6.30pm. She dropped the mid afternoon feed first but I have noticed she is now eating a lot more solid food at meal times.

we are prob only on 2 breastfeeds really(morning and night)...i offer a midday one and he might have a few sucks but pulls off more than he feeds.

I'm back at work in a week and wanted to cut him down but he won't have formula or anything other than the breast so it's a relief for me. He does have porridge, yoghurts, cheese etc and eats well and is on the 95th centile so i'm not worried

I realised today that Ivan had only 2 breastfeeds (morning and night). He eats extremely well so I'm not worried he's been naturally self weaning for a couple of weeks.
