8 Days late and BFN? Anyone have answers?

I have not been on for a while as have been really busy!
Have just done my clomid 2nd cycle and am now 8 days late but am getting BFN results! Can the clomid stop working when the blood test last month confirmed ovulation!
Has this happened to anyone else?

I feel like I am going a bit mad!

Do you chart your temperatures? If you do, have your temperatures fallen?

Do you go to an FS? I would check it out with him/ her if I were you.

Yes it can it worked first month for me on 50mg then second month my cycle lasted 53 days and I did not ovulate. I then increased my dose to 100mg for my third attempt and I still didnt ovulate.

I would get back in touch with your consultant or fertility nurse if I was you and explain the situation see what they have to say x

did you definately ovulate when you thought you did? on clomid my ov dates have varied between cd12 and 19! Also my first cycle on 50mg I ovulated and got a bfp (I had a mc later on) and on my second cycle I didn't ovulate at all. So it can vary greatly. x
