8 dpo and possible bfp

i have been testing with pks for 20 days and i oed on cd 13 and i am 8 dpo and i have been gettign + opks for six days now so i took a digi hpt and it said - so i took it opened it out and i saw wo lines the test line was faint but there was another line there is that a bfp am i pregnant???

Hi,

I took a digi on saturday after getting v v v faint positives on hpt's and mine to came up not pregnant and i also took mine apart (how obsessed are we lol) to find a faint line inside.

If you research the test on the internet, there's info saying that this does not mean you are pregnant and that the CB digi's also detect something else. I cant remember the details as i have a memory like a gold fish but just have a look hun.

I've been getting very faint positives for a week now, getting no darker and some days i get BFN's so i'm off to the doctors this afternoon to see if i can find out what is going on.

Try testing again in a day or two and if your still unsure make an apointment with the doc

I agree - you shouldn't take the digis apart coz they work in a different way to other tests so you will get 2 lines even if you are not pregnant.

Having said that.... its way too early for you to be getting a positive anyway! Lol if you are pregnant the embryo will only be implanting about this time so your HCG levels won't be high enough for a few more days at least.

That's not true for everyone. I got a positive at 3 weeks

There are always two lines on digital tests if you pull them apart. They read the urine differently. If you are only 8dpo it is very, very early for a BFP. Give it a few days and try again then.
