So sorry to hear this. I am in a similar boat. I had an early scan yesterday due to bleeding. The baby measured 8mm and they couldn't find a heartbeat other than mine. I'm supposed to be 8 weeks.

slg, at times I would feel so hopeful that I will definitely see a growing baby soon. Sometimes I too just feel so helpless and start to think "if it doesn't, am I going to have a D&C... is the baby growing... how to face the truth if the scan shows no heartbeat..."

I guess stay hopeful is better than thinking about all those negative stuff.

Just would like to update what happened here. Bad news, didn't even see the baby shape, it's stopped growing since two weeks ago. Doctor told me to wait for it to miscarry it by itself, probably takes another 1 week as there's some blood clot forming around the sac already. I'm feeling sad but am more worried about the possibility of miscarry again in the future. Sigh....

I'm so sorry. My last two pregnancies went like that and waiting for the final scan to confirm the loss was so torturous. I hope you don't have to wait too long for your body to take care of things. Take care.
